THE MANDALORIAN: The Runtime For Next Wednesday's "Chapter 22" Has Been Revealed THE MANDALORIAN: The Runtime For Next Wednesday's "Chapter 22" Has Been Revealed

This week's episode of The Mandalorian left us with a lot to discuss, and as season 3's pace finally begins to pick up, we have news on the runtime for next Wednesday's "Chapter 22." Read on for details...

Ever since Disney+ brought Marvel and Star Wars to television, there's been an increased interest in runtimes. Those have always been a hot topic among fans when it comes to movies, but it's now the case for these small screen offerings as well.

Once again, we have news on The Mandalorian's next episode (via SFFGazette.com) with it confirmed by a reliable source that episode 6 - "Chapter 22" - will clock in at 44 minutes and 14 seconds.

That's pretty much the same as this week's instalment and is in line with what we've grown accustomed to with the series.

As is always the case with Star Wars, no details have been revealed about what's heading our way next Wednesday. However, "The Pirate" offered some clues following that big cliffhanger addressing Moff Gideon's fate and Bo-Katan Kryze's new mission to bring together all Mandalorians on the orders of The Armorer.

One piece of information we can share with you about "Chapter 22," however, is the fact it was written by Jon Favreau and directed by Bryce Dallas Howard (which guarantees this will be a great episode).

The Jurassic World star has previously helmed "Chapter 4: Sanctuary," "Chapter 11: The Heiress," and "The Mandalorian" episode of The Book of Boba Fett

"With standout performances from Katee Sackhoff and Sun-Hyung Lee," we said in our review of this week's episode of The Mandalorian"'The Pirate' features everything fans love about Star Wars and sees filmmaker Peter Ramsey prove himself one of this franchise’s greatest directors with a masterpiece-level episode."

Stay tuned for more updates on The Mandalorian as we have them.

Wow! Maybe he can get 3 articles out of that! JUST WOW!!

@bobevanz -

He considers them unimportant in the face of groundbreaking reporting on the run time of an episode of a show.

@DocSpock - He does this every week now like it's a hot topic. Can't believe the sheer audacity to write an article about it. Especially when he tries to validate himself by saying there has been an increased interest in runtimes. Nope. Just you, Josh...just you.

@Sabre81 -

And he gets paid a lot for this because everyone still clicks on it.

@DocSpock - Don't think he does actually get paid that much. You'll see certain times (normally end of month when rent is due) when he will just churn out garbage lists and insane rumours that he makes up himself or make entire articles about a Twitter post just to make ends meet :-)

@bobevanz - Yeah this final season of Picard makes you just want to forget the first two seasons. It's been great in my eyes.

@Sabre81 -

Actually that is incorrect. He has been writing here for well over a decade. During that time, he has turned out more articles than anyone else on the site. And this has been an extremely successful site for a long time.

He does write a bunch of junk articles, but many good ones too. He is my favorite CBM reviewer on the site.

I would do what he does if I weren't so drunk, stupid, & unmotivated.

@DocSpock - the journalistic integrity from basically everywhere nowadays is head scratching 😅

I 100% agree.

The mainstream media has zero integrity anymore.

@DocSpock - Sorry, what's incorrect? I know all about Josh and his ventures. I used to be here for years (possibly 2014?) under my old account Sabre7. Stopped coming here about middle 2018 when it started getting really shit and the boards became very toxic. Came back for a look last year...but locked out of my old account and realised the email address was for a company I don't work for anymore. Arrggh! Just made this one as close as possible. Same picture and stuff.

Here's you favourite?? Damn, Ror is better. I don't hate on Josh, but these are a few reasons I don't rate him:-

- Gets facts wrong and doesn't proof read his pieces before posting them.

- Seen him 'steal' articles that others post so he makes it like it is his article on the main page.

- Bias opinion pieces that show that he does not have a lot of integrity and will try to make it look like it is what 'everyone' thinks instead of him saying it is just his opinion.

- Pointless lists that are mostly flame war bait. Even the other day there was one about actresses that could replace Gal Gadot. He wouldn't have the balls to maybe draw up an on topic list of actors that could replace Jonathan Majors???

- Posts entire articles about a Twitter post or indeed just a few days ago just repeated a podcast from someone else. Absolute nothing. Even this week as well he basically posted the same articles for The Mandalorian episode. Some lines were the same! And I think there is three up about Zeb. How can he validate that?

- If you want to check out a great reporter and unbias journalist for cbm news I suggest people like Kofi Outlaw who used to be at Screenrant and now over on comicbook.com...which is a site that Josh will mimic an article from FYI.

- The alternate accounts. Nuff' Said.

That's why I don't really rate him. I used to write reviews for TV shows 15 years ago for a site called Sidereel. For Free. I enjoyed doing it and was greatly respected by the runners of the site. Feel times have changed.

Don't think I'm alone in this point of view either.

P.S.
Hey, don't put yourself down about thinking you're stupid and unmotivated. Stay positive and maybe cut back on the drinking? I struggled for two decades with a drink problem and still try to keep fighting but it's tough. I can't control it most of the time but I'll keep trying.

Take care buddy.

Between articles like this, click bait and people just arguing over identity politics in the comments, this site has become a hellhole.

@FriendoGhus - This is so true. It's such a far cry from the early days. I've been coming here since The Dark Knight days and have been commenting since the Iron Man 1 days. I've seen it change a lot. There's still some real OG's from back then like @chewtoy and @corndogburglar @marvel72 @griff but this site is dog shit now. Unfortunately, since they still crank out the most content I have to visit here for info for my podcast.

I appreciate this article, I like knowing the run times. Hate sitting down and expecting a regular length episode just to find out it's cartoon length like most of these episodes. I don't watch weekly 20 minute shows, I let them build up so I can binge instead.

She’s 2 for 3 so far with her Star Wars episodes, but fortunately her only dud was the episode from season 1, so this does bode well for this upcoming episode. She introduced BO Katan in her S2 episode so hopefully she will introduce another established Mandalorian in this one

Just finished watching "the pirate" episode and I have to say it was one of my favorites of the series. Definitely best of this season so far, which has been just ok through the first 4 episodes so far. Hope they are building momentum toward another great episode.
