Would be great to see a Boba Fett animated show, maybe use that unfinished Clone Wars episodes for Flashbacks, all they need to do is finish animation and shouldn't be hard to alter the art if they use a different style

I kinda wanna see a show similar to The Clone Wars set between VIII and IX. Especially Resistance stuff with Finn and Poe (who both deserve much more than what they got to do in the movies). Also, Clone Wars did some good stuff for the bad guys too, so Kylo Ren definitely must get some spotlight too.

And speaking of animated shows with Poe, I finally decided to start watching Star Wars Resistance. The animation is even worse than Rebels and some jokes don't work, but I actually really like the new characters and the relative small setting of the show.

I'm surprised not a lot of people seem interested in the concept that seems the most obvious and widely appealing: an OT sequel series. The original Thrown trilogy took place a few years after RotJ, when the heroes are working to establish the New Republic and fight off the last remnant of the Empire. Meanwhile, Luke is attempting to learn more about what it means to be a Jedi without the guidance of Obi-wan or Yoda.

While that trilogy is no longer canon, the core ideas of it could easily be adapted for a series that's both purposeful and appealing to a wide range of Star Wars fans. The time period would allow them to bring together characters and plot lines from the OT, the Star Wars comics (Doctor Aphra, Sana, etc), Clone Wars (Ahsoka) and Rebels (the surviving ghost crew) giving it a broad scope akin to Clone Wars. Unlike the sequel trilogy, we'd actually be able to see what was accomplished by overthrowing the Empire by getting a look at the beginnings of the New Republic and Luke's Jedi academy. Plus, we'd get to see Luke in his prime wielding all the power and skill that has only been imagined so far. Another potential highlight would be Ahsoka meeting Luke and Leia. If done right, it would be incredible.

This is the least imaginative thing I've skimmed in a while.

Honestly, they may be better off just leaving the saga of STAR WARS as we know it and begin working on their High Republic era content. Release a show, release the novels, release a game... just, a fresh start.

Why not an animated series where we follow what happened post-"ROTJ" leading up to "TFA" with Luke, Leia, Han, Lando, Chewie and the droids altogether... what fans wanted to see in the New Trilogy?

Hamill has years upon years of voice-acting work. Why not bring him back as Luke and give him the proper end to his career as Luke Skywalker? Have Luke Skywalker being the powerful Jedi he should've been in the New Trilogy and add more weight to why he decided to become exiled from the Order.
