THE LOST BOYS CW Pilot Casts Cheyenne Haynes And Haley Tju As The Frog Sisters

We recently found out who'd be playing the likes of Michael, David and Star (well, a version of Star) in The CW's Lost Boys series, and now a pair of actors have been cast as The Frog Brothers sisters...

Confirming rumors that The Frog Brothers would be gender-switched for The CW's upcoming small-screen adaptation of The Lost Boys, Deadline reports that Cheyenne Haynes (Camping) and Haley Tju (Bella and the Bulldogs) have joined the cast as Liza and Cassie Frog.

The vampire hunting duo are described as "teenage locals who work at Santa Carla’s comic-book store. Until Sam arrives, they think they’re the only ones aware of the darkness in this town."

In addition, Sarah Hay (Flesh and Bone) will play a vampire named Mollie, who was turned by David but since broke off to lead a rival gang of blood-suckers.

Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Miss Bala, Thirteen) will helm the pilot episode, which was written by Heather Mitchell. Check out the lengthy synopsis below, and let us know what you think of this news in the comments.

"Still mourning the death of her husband, Lucy (Sanchez) is forced to move back home to Santa Carla — something she’s dreaded since causing a town scandal 27 years ago, when she ditched her boyfriend to run off with another man.

Lucy’s elder son, Michael’s (Posey) plan to attend Columbia Medical school is thrown off by the diagnosis that he shares the same genetic weakness that killed his father. The only thing that consoles him is the friendship he strikes up with Stella (Rahimi), a young woman who runs a concession stand on the Santa Carla boardwalk.

Rahimi’s Stella, carefree and Californian, has an immediate spark with Michael (Posey), but she’s not single: Her boyfriend is the sexy, dangerous and immortal vampire David (Shapiro). And now she’ll have to choose between the living and the undead…

And before anyone thinks I don't know . And tries to call me on it ,I know he is not dead. That's why I said as Charles Barkley says. The bit is to say that when the person is still alive

That went downhill fast. You could literally change any other character and people wouldn't mind. But the Frog brothers were the heart of the movie and what kept the film alive all these years.

I like how Tyler Posey's character here is interested in a career of medicine, not so different than when he played Scott on Teen Wolf. It feels like a nice call-back and nod by random to his previous and longest role. 😄

CW is notorious for this crap. (Charmed reboot) I amd totally for diversity and inclusion of ppl of all races, genders and sexual preferences, but when you gender swap or racially swap out established characters for no reason it is SO annoying! Create a new character! A girlfriend, a boyfriend, a friend, use your own ideas, rather than just coping the success of the past.

Frog sisters? This "strategy" of putting male characters as female characters, in remakes, does not work very well, as we saw in the movie "Ghostbusters". Why? Just to cause unnecessary discussions? I think it's funny. The third movie has a scene talking about how this "twilight" style worsens movies, series, and books about vampires.

You know what...all of this stuff from The CW, TBS, TNT, Fox and the rest are really trying to build this NWO. All this stuff is right in front of our faces. I’m not gonna say too much, but it’s a lot of signs that a lot of evil shit is happening in the world.
