As the season enters its home stretch, the stakes are getting higher with Bonnie's condition worsening by the minute and next week, Damon & Enzo are forced to make a deal with the devil. Now, who the devil is, is yet-to-be seen, but it's probably a safe bet it has something to do with that vault no one wants Bonnie to open. Meanwhile, Alaric & Caroline and Stefan & Matt split up to hunt down Rayna's massive list of escaped vampire souls, which leads to Stefan finally learning the truth about why Matt betrayed him. Check out the new promo below:

A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL — With Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) life at stake and an uphill battle ahead of them, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) lead the charge to save Bonnie before her condition worsens. Stefan (Paul Wesley) reluctantly teams up with Matt (Zach Roerig) for the sake of Bonnie and uncovers the truth behind Matt’s anger towards him. Elsewhere, determined to help her best friend, Caroline (Candice King) joins Alaric (Matt Davis) on a mission and quickly realizes how much she’s missed her former supernatural lifestyle. Finally, after their plan takes an unexpected turn, Damon makes a fateful decision that will forever change his relationship with Bonnie. Kellie Cyrus directed the episode written by Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux (#720).

Delete my comment? Well, I'll repeat myself, with specifics; this show is crap and I cannot believe it's still on. Two hundred plus year old vampires that've seen all kinds of things in the world, done all manner of atrocities but they concern themselves with mortal girls and their prom aspirations? Not to mention, is there anyone left on the show that *isn't* a vampire or hybrid? There's good reason that Nina Dobrev abandoned this sinking ship...
