The CW's Gotham Knights pilot has added Olivia Rose Keegan, Navia Robinson, and Oscar Morgan to its cast, joining the previously announced Fallon Smythe and Tyler DiChiara.

Keegan (Days of our Lives) is set to play a version of Duela Dent, who is described as "abrasive, unpredictable and a little unhinged, Duela is, above all, a survivor. Born in Arkham Asylum and abandoned by her father – the most dangerous man in Gotham – Duela forged herself into a brutal fighter and skilled thief."

Robinson (Raven's Home) has been cast as Carrie Kelley, aka the first female Robin. "Fearless, idealistic and plucky as hell, Carrie talked her way into being Batman’s unlikely sidekick. If there’s a burning building or a person in need, she’s the first to rush in. Just as long as she’s home by curfew."

Finally, Morgan (Trauma) will portray Turner Hayes. "Despite the murder of his biological parents, Turner remains resilient and driven to live up to his billionaire adoptive father’s name. While charming and soulful, Turner has never quite felt comfortable in this world of wealth and privilege."

We found out earlier this week that Fallon Smythe (Grown-Ish) will play Bluebird, and Tyler DiChiara (Relish) will play her brother Cullen Row.

The original premise of the Gotham Knights comic was to focus on the adventures of Batman's extended family, such as Alfred, Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, Oracle, and Catwoman, among others. Eventually, the series expanded to include some of the Dark Knight's foes, and it sounds like this take on the story will lean into that concept by introducing the sons and daughters of several well-known villains.

You can check out the show's updated logline below.

"The one-hour drama takes place in in the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder. His rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights."

A CW show?

Turner Hayes could be an OC for the show that is Bruce's adoptive son (the description avoids confirming it though which is weird) or a codename hiding someone else from the comics, wouldn't be the first time it happens.

This will be a different iteration from Duela after Batwoman's 1st Season.

This Carrie Kelley sounds like she did partner up with Batman before things went south.

I’m sure they’re gonna milk the hell out of Duela Dent’s messy parentage

@BlackBeltJones - It's CW. That'll be her whole arc. That and being a lesbian or something.

@TheyDont - She'll have dueling personalities with one straight and the other one gay or trans and say that it's progressive when they'll use it in the most exploitative and pandering way possible while it's heralded for it's 'brave character choices'.

Although I do think getting to see Bluebird, Spoiler and Orphan is pretty cool, this show really just sounds like it was made with throwing a bunch of random Bat-related characters together.

That said, I hope they would go with a villain-of-the-week format. But instead of a different villain, it's just Duela each week posing as another villain's daughter.

@bkmeijer - this show sounds like WB trying to milk the bat franchise while having their own hands tied by their own character embargo

Played right, duela dent could be a stand out of the characters

Carrie....that could be cool

Considering Titans is taking up all the male robins, yeah doubt that is a place holder name and really makes me less interested.

Spoiler and blue bird are cool

Really id be more interested if the cut out the original guy and did a Birds of Prey type show. A new adaption of black canary and Oracle, with maybe a teenage Helena Wayne and a few other heroes like Carrie and Harper

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - I don't mind all of those changes, but there is definitely a pattern developing that I'm not sure I like

Oh come on. Why can't the Turner kid be a non white character, instead of Carrie Kelley? I'm not liking red head characters not being played by redhead actors/actresses, in some form or another.

Barf and yawn

This sounds boring, dumb and is a perfect example of bad decision making at DC/WB.

I this point I’d take the Green Arrow spin off with the Black Canaries set in the future over this.

It’s in CW but not connected to their other shows, which I get that Sups is very loosely connected but there’s a connection. That’s the hook with all the CW shows, at least they cross over.

This sounds like their just throwing everything at the wall hoping something sticks. Pathetic

I prefer a redhead actress to be played by a redhead actress, in one form or another. Personally, I prefer her character not be race changed. But I think we can do both. There may be non white actresses, black or otherwise, who has red hair, I think likely a mixed race actress. Still think the Batgirl movie would work stronger in The Batman movie universe, with Ella-Rae Smith as Barbara Gordon, but I can see her as a version of Carrie Kelley, similarly:

So is this taking place in the same Gotham as Batwoman? Or perhaps in the same universe as Naomi or Stargirl. CW/DC makes me dizzy.

crazy how racist people still are (of course, only when hidden behind a computer, but still).
If the color of the skin of your made up character bothers you this much, that is an issue you need to seek help with. I'm disappointed that she is not a red head, as that is a defining character trait of hers, and there are red headed black actresses that they could have hired (yes, black people CAN have red hair and also green eyes). But, there have been so many casting where they got the look right, but the person couldn't act worth a crap, so, I think it's best to wait and see before Judging.
but who am I kidding, this site usually reeks of the body odor of a grown man living in his parents basement that has nothing better to do than comment with hateful remarks, so, of course you will judge without seeing it first.
