NetherRealm has released another gameplay trailer next month's Injustice 2, this time focusing on Poison Ivy.

The footage provides a very good idea of what players can expect from the vociferous villain's basic move-set, combo attacks, and finally her devastating finishing maneuver, in which she summons a monstrous plant to devour her opponents.

The Lines Have Been Redrawn. The line between hero and villain has become blurred as the most epic battle in the DC universe rages on in Injustice 2. While Batman has emerged the victor in his battle against the Regime, a new threat arises and poses the ultimate threat to Earth.

Injustice 2 will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning on the 19th of May 2017.

I actually really like the look they went with. Its a bit grounded but still has the comic book look to it.

Nah, for someone who can control nature she uses way too much close-range skills. She'd have been better as a ranged character who's close-range options were kissing (as shown) and more pheromone moves.

If there is one thing WB is SO FAR doing quite right, is staying away from the excessive political correctness that's been ruining a lot of comic-related media in the past couple of years. Poison Ivy looks insanely fun to play and they aren't afraid of making her pretty sexy; same thing with WW in the movies: I actually don't like Gal Gadot's casting, but her appearence and Amber Heard's Mera is spot on regarding the outfits. Compare that to Scarlet Witch and Black Widow and those are disappointments (this is coming from someone who actually enjoys the MCU more so far than the DCEU).
