The filming of Resident Evil: Retribution is about to start, and Milla Jovovich has started tweeting about what's going on the set, and the stuff she's been up to in there. She has talked about the fight choreography that she is having with the Mortal Kombat star Robin Shou and the guns training:





Also another piece of information about the movie is that actor Colin Salmon, who played 'One' at the first film on 2002, is returning for the new movie.



Resident Evil: Retribution starts filming on October. With Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory and Colin Salmon confirmed on the cast, the movie is set to come in September 14, 2012!

I don't care what anyone says I love the Resident Evil films. They are awesome action/horror films and I look forward to RE: Retribution.

@Shadow56 You must not have played the RE games, because these films are a disgrace to the franchise. Paul WS Anderson tarnished this franchise film after film, I don't even take these films seriously.

I COMPLETELY agree cable23!! These films are a disgrace and embarrassment to everything Resident Evil was and is! That moron Anderson also confirmed that Barry and Leon as well as Ada will appear in the next film. Great! More characters for him to complete F-UP!! And this person died 4 films ago! Is he really that creatively screwed to bring back dead characters? Im ashamed that Milla Jovovich married such a BUM!

Love the games back to the first one, the movies got progressively worse. They need to take it back to the mansion....Mila? Take it back to the mansion, I already wrote the script...we'll do lunch!

i played the games and love them, with that said the movies are not bad at all. sure i would love to see a movie starring Chris, jill, claire, and my favorite Leon in a resident evil movie, but i get what i can get.

I thought the first was decent becuase it still kind of worked with the existing continuity but it got further and further from the actual storyline, going so far as to re-write the story of Nemesis. At least with 3 and 4 they decided to stay almost completly away from existing canon.
I would have much preferred a canonical, atmospheric film remiscient of the first games. Reboot indeed, but someone who played and loved the games.

@DeathGambit, you loved the games and like the films??? That is an oxymoron! How anyone can play the games and think these movies "are not bad at all" is beyond me. Can you and others not grasp that this series is a perfect example of taking wonderful source material and taking a hot steaming pile of crap on it.

@tainted87, It's not all it's cracked up to be. It was okay but nowhere as good as one of Romero's own films or any of the Resident Evil games' stories.

So I guess Salmon is either in a flashback, a clone or they're making HUNK black and One's identical twin brother.
