Today I went into Walgreens and came across the same Red Hood figure. I took advantage and took pictures of the art and the back unlike the last Red Hood articles.
Here is a new and not seen before artwork for Red Hood aka Jason Todd!
This image below shows the info provided by the game for the players. It appears on the info that the Red Hood's identity is unknown in the Arkhamverse. The only time we've heard of Jason Todd in the Arkhamverse was in Arkham City in a challenge map, where the Joker makes a joke on him killing a Robin. Could it be that Red Hood will not just make his first appearance in Arkham Knight but his introduction to Batman and the others as well?

Hopefully they don't nerf his power like Deathstroke. Deathstroke had a sword but we never were able to use it.

Hope we get to use the guns as well. I always thought they should change the gameplay a bit so that even if thugs had guns you could take them out with easy if your were smart about it.

@superotherside

Well considering RH snaps people's necks as his Silent Takedown and this is what ESRB had to say about why it's rated M:

"Rating Summary: This is an action-adventure game in which players primarily assume the role of Batman as he battles several villains spreading chaos across Gotham City. Players traverse a variety of locations around Gotham while battling thugs, examining crime scenes, and occasionally rescuing hostages. Players engage in melee-style combat using punches, kicks, and gadgets (e.g., batarangs, explosives). Enemies cry out in pain when struck, and some takedowns are highlighted by brief slow-motion effects and loud impact sounds. Some sequences allow players to use tank-like vehicles with machine gun turrets and rockets to shoot enemies; a vehicle's wheels are also used to torture an enemy in one sequence. Cutscenes depict characters getting shot (on and off camera) while restrained or unarmed. Large bloodstains/pools of blood appear in crime scenes and in the aftermath of violent acts; one room depicts a person torturing a character on a bloody operating table. During the course of the game, players can shoot unarmed characters and a hostage. Neon signs in a red-light district read “live nude girls” and “XXX.” The words “b*tch,” “gobsh*te,” and “a*s” appear in the dialogue."

@superotherside According to the Arkham Wikia, there was footage at a convention where they showed Red Hood's gameplay and he fight with his guns and actually kills people. Just no blood is shown

It's gonna be 18 and over.
And like Kr08 said I also saw on the WB forums that someone saw some gameplay at a convention and he does kill.
Odin

It's funny that Red Hood has been around so long but Arkham-verse is the first incarnation to actually give character a hood, not just helmet.

@yunglilmane The front of the collectible box is old but I'm the first to capture an image of the back that might reveal a possible spoiler

And you're right his costume is badass!
Kr08
Kr08 - 3/28/2015, 2:11 PM
@Maroofio Maybe if you actually read the article you would notice that the fact that the possibility of his identity not known to Batman can be a huge spoiler
Maroofio
Maroofio - 3/28/2015, 2:14 PM
@Kr08 How is that..

1. New information?
2. A spoiler?

Of course Batman doesn't know who he is, the have never met in the games before.....
Cruel
Cruel - 3/28/2015, 2:17 PM
@Marooflo

That's your logic?
So because they didn't meet in the games it means they haven't met before?
So did Batman not know the Joker before Arkham Asylum?
Maroofio
Maroofio - 3/28/2015, 2:21 PM
@CIAGuy Thats kind of different though, taking the timeline into account Jason Todd's death occurs just before the Arkham franchise, theres no time for Batman to meet Red Hood.
Maroofio
Maroofio - 3/28/2015, 2:22 PM
This is common knowledge.
