It's Actually Not that Bad to Tell you the Truth. Well, okay it's not Excellent, But As far as it goes for a Video Game Adaptation. It really isn't the worst. It's certainly alot more enjoyable than the anime movie.

Now THE KING OF FIGHTERS movie on the other hand is complete crap compared to this one. The only good thing in that movie worth checking out is Ray Park's Over the top performance as the villain Rugal Bernstein. This one is at least worth a quick rental to see at least once but no more than a single viewing. I Thought it was Okay.

Is it better or worse than the Dead or Alive movie? Looks equally as bad.

@Rexgabe, I saw Dead Or Alive, and It bored me Though it does succede at what the games soley exist for. Which is gratutious amounts of hot babes in scantly clad outfits beating the crap out of eachother.

Although I didn't find too many of the women in that movie that hot looking except for maybe Jamie Presley as Tina, and the chick who played Helena.

@Vinny1138, DoA definately did that. The girl that played Helena and the girl with the purple hair were cute. Jamie Presley reminds me too much of Jamie Presley, and growing up in South Texas I've met a few too many Jamies in my life.

WTF? $39.99 on this? The only good thing about this movie is Eddy, and he doesn't even last long!

I saw this movie and it has nothing to do with the video game franchise. It sucked badly.

I just watched the movie, it's pretty good. Could have been better, could have been worse. I'll just wait 'til it's cheaper to buy it. :)

This movie was a lot better compared to street fighter, mortal kombat annihilation, and dead or alive. I am surprised their just now putting it on dvd when its out for download over year ago.

Does it hold the same B-Movie charm that DoA had? DoA was crap, but I enjoyed it for what it was (Eric Roberts, FTW).

Shitty video game adaptations and cheap horror movie knock-offs are like the modern date exploitation films. In 20 years people will be talking about how awesomely bad some of these movies are.

@Jazzman What the hell is a Fakken?

They need to do a proper movie or series focusing on the tainted Mishima blood. Show Kazuya's rise in Tekken, or even start with his fall in Tekken 3. Then you can deal with his bastard son.

The movie sucked...it looked as if it was shot in a junkyard. The story was flimsy at best and an insult to fans of the game. The only good thing was the chicks butt cleavage! This is not worth my blu-ray bucks! I'll save it for when Thor hits blu-ray!

I don't know what you guys are complaining about... it was a great movie... take into effect it was low budget and no studio backed it...

I thought it was great... i played Tekken my whole life and i'll tell you that this was great...

you guys need to stop thinking that every movie should be made just for you...

in reality the studios are saying "hey lets spend $500,000 just to make Berry Stone a movie he likes"...

the funny part is he would probably think it was still crap...

But to answer the question on the movies quality...
Tekken was a cross between Mortal Kombat, Lionheart, and The Running Man.
