We have seen the concept art, now a teaser trailer has been released. Bonus, a wider shot of Thor in street clothes has been found as well.

Kalel, I disagree sir. The Wolverine game was pretty good, and I would even say it was better than the movie it was based off of. X-Men Legends games were awesome also. Arkham Asylum is the best of them all though (can't wait for the sequel this year)

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was great and the second one was good as well. The Spider-Man movie games on the PS2 were pretty great as well. Hulk Ultimate Destruction was a good time... so really there have been a handful of decent comic inspired games in addition to Arkham.

Anyone else think, that picture is from the same scene as in that interview that was shown on cbm. where he jumps down the stair case and slams 3 guards. Also is that a crater so could be where he's just getting his hammer back. what you guys think ???

I really want to get excited about this game (especially as it look pretty damned excellent) but as I've said over on MULTI's intervier, I was really looking forward to Iron Man 2 which also looked excellent, only to find it was a pile of crap that I finished in about 4 hours. ;(

Fingers crosses Sega will have done a better job with this one...

Hey guys! About the picture ... what do you think will happend when Thor lift Mjölnir? Ok, i think some lighting and thunder may appear but ... he will transform? we will see the red cape suit? he will start floating around? he will just remain his clothes but have all the Mjölnir power?

@ Ironred: I think his power and his costume will come back to him in a massive bolt of lightening that will vaporize the roof of that dome, and then Thor will fly away

I think after he'll have strained so much to lift it, he'll let out a thunderous fart that will blow the roof straight off of that dome. Then he'll fly away and leave everyone in the dome to their deaths.

the problem with video games based on movies is that they always suck. we are constantly promised a good game with the movie and they always have so much potential but they always end up sucking donkey ballz. i know i will love the movie but i am willing to bet this game wont even be worth renting.

@juggernaut and @shaman ... in my opinion, the red cape suit should remain in Asgard Universe ... i think it will be a litlle bit ridiculous and unreal to have it in real world .... i think he will take Mjölnir and gain all his power back ... hopefuly we will see thundewrs and ligthings around, and maybe some floating and flying ... but i prefer him to stay with his normal clothes ... In this way we can see how Stark can made him a new costume to use, something like Ultimate Thor.

It may actually be better than Iron Man's game. For one they already started producing the game, and it doesn't seem like it's set to release before or on the movie date but maybe a month or more after. That means more time for tweaking and such which mean we could have a good Marvel game.

Ultimate Spider-man (just - bit of a let-down after S2, but still good)
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (comics published by Moonstone Books)
X-Men Legends 1 & 2
X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I'm not into pure fighting games, so I've left off all those beat-em-ups that came out, such as Marvel v Capcom etc.

KeithM- Batman Returns SNES, Spawn SNES, Wildcats SNES, X-Men SNES/Genesis, Incredible Hulk SNES, Maximum Carnage SNES, Spider-Man PS1, Batman Begins PS2, Wolverine PS3. I'll even throw in Boogerman for SNES cause he was a superhero too :P

But those are just my opinion of course ;)
