UNCHARTED Poster Reveals A New Look At Tom Holland's Nathan Drake And Mark Wahlberg's Sully

With Spider-Man: No Way Home starting to swing into theaters, Sony Pictures has released the first poster for Uncharted and it puts Tom Holland's Nathan Drake front and centre with Sully not far behind.

Only time will tell what the future holds in store for Tom Holland's Spider-Man, but the actor could soon have another action franchise on his hands thanks to the big screen adaptation of Uncharted.

Now, we have the first poster for the movie, with Holland put front and centre as Nathan Drake. While he's a little bit younger than the version of the adventurer we know from the hit PlayStation franchise, it's fair to say he looks pretty damn perfect as Nate. The same can't be said for Mark Wahlberg's Sully, though, and the actor could be posing for pretty much any generic action flick here.

Wahlberg's casting has been a real sticking point for Uncharted fans, and while a moustache really shouldn't matter that much, the Transformers star remains an odd pick for this particular character.

Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of "the greatest treasure never found" while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Rafe Judkins and Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, the movie stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas.

Uncharted is set to arrive in theaters on February 18. In the UK, it arrives a little sooner on February 11.

I still can't believe they cast Wahlberg as Sully. I mean this whole cast is horrible, but Wahlberg tops everything. Sometimes I think Sony is a parody of the Hollywood studio system.

@CaptainsOrders - I see people replying to him sometimes. I think a lot of us can’t see him despite not being blocked and I’m not sure as to why. Or we really are all blocked 😅

I can accept Tom Holland as Drake, but Mark Wahlberg is definitely not possible to be seen as Sully. This is a horrible cast choice. Not even regarding Mark's ability to act, but just for the character.

Sully should looks much more as a father figure, someone older, wiser-looking, and of course with a mustache (which will have in the movie eventually, though).

Bringing in mark wahlberg for this as silly is what turned me off immediately. I like him in certain parts. But not confident. Tom Holland is a horrible choice as well

God, some people just blow complete a** when it comes to highlights and shading on subjects. This looks like BossLogic levels of garbage.
