UPDATE: VIDEO GAMES: The Joker Returns In Batman: Arkham Origins!

A standee for the video game has revealed multiple characters that will appear in the upcoming prequel!

This morning IGN posted pictures of a display standee for the upcoming video game, Batman: Arkham Origins.

Below you can see the Joker and Scarecrow along the left side of the standee:

Deadshot, Killer Croc, and Deathstroke can also be seen across the bottom of the standee:

Some are also claiming that Bane also appears on the standee between Deadshot and Killer Croc, but I personally don't think it's him.

UPDATE: I can confirm by my own research that the character between Deadshot and Killer Croc is not Bane, but just an Arkham Asylum inmate:

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Batman: Arkham Origins™ and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate™, the next installments of the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise. Batman: Arkham Origins will be available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 system, the Wii U™ system, and Windows PC. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate™ will be available for the Nintendo 3DS™ handheld system, and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system. Both titles are scheduled to release worldwide Oct. 25, 2013.

Developed by WB Games Montréal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games of the franchise. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships.

AWESOME! That's a lot of villains :) Here's hoping they can convince Mark Hamill to come back. He's the only Joker voice that feels right.

I don't understand why they've used The Dark Knight Rises Bane in the image instead of the Bane from the Arkham series...

It does look like a Nolanised version of Bane is on there. And if it is I'll be really quite disappointed. I'd rather they kept the classic look.

@BatmanRobinNightwing too true. And going along with your profile name, I'm really hoping to see Dick Grayson as Robin, and Barbara as Batgirl both being playable characters.

I don't know about you guys, but I would much prefer a more Comic-ish Bane in this game than another Nolan like Bane.

I amazed at some of the stuff you guys over look just out of excitement. This is a prequel, and arkham asylum doesn't exist yet, therefore there is only one explanation for arkham asylum inmates, and the joker, and probably why a lot of them are on there is simply because wb want everyone to be able to clearly see that this is a new intry into the arkham games, and how all the history shown in his cape on this standee all started, so no joker, I am 99.9998% positive of that, though I am still holding out for it to have him as red hood in the game!!!

the bald guy isn't bane, if you've played the previous games, you'll know that's one of the annoying knife wielding inmates,

Plus if he were round, he wouldn't be big enough to have so many goons, as the poster also shows

I can hardly even see anyone there.... Can someone make a full list of all the characters featured in this?

... you do realize just because a famous character is on the advertisements doesn't mean they're in the game. At least not as big as everyone thinks. I imagine it'll just be a little snippet at the end of the game.

Koolaidbag-Maybe like a side mission where you break up a robbery at Ace Chemicals and accidentally knock him into the vat and he washes out into the bay.

This game might not have joker...it might have him before he becomes joker and the game ends with jokers hand comming out of a vat of green stuff.
