VIDEO GAMES: 'Copperhead' Confirmed For BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS

A female version of the Batman villain, 'Copperhead' has been revealed and confirmed for as a one of the main villains in Batman: Arkham Origins via a new trailer that has just debuted. UPDATE: Trailer has been added!

In an interesting switchup, Eric Holmes, Troy Baker, Roger Craig Smith and more were on-hand for the Batman: Arkham Origins panel at San Diego Comic-Con where a female Copperhead (who is also female in the new 52) for the game was revealed as one of the eight-main assassins that Batman will encounter. Take a look at a few 'Vine' clips below and return for the full trailer, which will be posted at 2:15PM PST. New skins have also been revealed in Batman: One Million and Worst Nightmare. In addition to new skins, the panel also heavily teased an appearance from Batgirl. What do you make of tonight's SDCC haul?

I cant wait for this game. I was initially worried that Rocksteady wasnt doing it but I think this is going to live up to its predecessors.

Yes, all pre-orders get to play as Deathstroke. I'm not at all surprised that no one here is complaining that Copperhead is a female. At least she's not styling the snake pajamas look!

Copperhead was a cheesy henchman villain who most people would know from the Justice League cartoons. He was about as cool as hot day in Death Valley.

@GuardianAngel - Do you even play video games? Don't ever play any MMOs...most of the armor upgrades for the women produce more skin. To answer your question though: Women make some of the best assassins because guys tend to let down their defenses around them...and the more cleavage shown, the better chance of that happening.

I'm so disappointed in this game so far. What really drew me to Arkham Asylum was the challenging predator mode and being able to carefully plan out your attacks to scare the shit out of the bad guys.

Arkham City sadly cut down on the challenges of being Batman by expanding the gliding abilities and making predator mode too easy with all the gadgets.

Now this is beyond ridiculous. This new double grapple, or whatever the [frick], completely ruins the whole stealth aspect of predator mode. You no longer even have to touch the ground.

I was hoping that this being a prequal, they'd get rid of the grapple boost and focus a bit more on parkour/free running to get around.

@BlindJustice There's ways to make a woman sexy without abandoning all logic to do so. You see all the male villains wearing all that armor, and they don't need a large codpiece or bulging abs to look cool.

Angel, lets be honest, this is hardly anything. I honestly didn't even notice until you pointed it out. I see what you are saying and in other cases I might agree with you but in this particular case your being a bit of a white knight.
