The past couple of weeks has seen the leaks of both the American Revolution setting of Assassin's Creed III as well as the cover art for the game (see below). However, Ubisoft has now revealed the first official teaser trailer for latest instalment in the franchise and it teases players with what they can expect when it goes on sale this October.





RELEASE DATE: October 30th, 2012.

Wow, Connor seems a badass and I cant wait to play him!!! He is just like Ezio and altair :)

I really hope that Desmond will be a much bigger role this time...

i played this game once and didnt get very far. so i never played it again, it was cool i just couldnt figure out how to advance so i only killed peasants or who eve was messin with me. looks cool though

Pokeysteve - same logic applies to GTA. usually 1, 2, 3 and so on are the main story and the others are complimentary.

Ok, I thought Revelations was AC3. This is games looking good. I hope theres some multi player and not just "vs" multi, but co-op multi. These games would be a lot more fun with a partner or two. Even if its set up like Fable 2, where your partner cant really "fair" from quests, but can still play the main story with someone else, helping them through the game.

enjoyed the first 2.5 games
but the parts with desmond are the best part of the game.
all this ancestor crap is just to long of a haul.
revelations i played for a few hours,up until the tower defense part.
then it was back to the store with it.
so mixed feelings about this.

You know for as popular as these games are, they should release an animated movie or better yet, a full length CGI film. Dead Space, RE, Final Fantasy, Dantes Inferno, Tekken, Street fighter, and a few others have animated movies that are great(aside Dead space 2 movie, it was weak).

This seems like an odd place and period of history for this franchise. I'm not overly familiar with the continuity of these games, is there a reason for this or is it just random?

No offence to any Americans, but that seems like a pretty dry setting for an action game.
