Happy 4th of July! To celebrate, Ubisoft have released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the stunning graphics in the highly anticipated third instalment in the Assassin's Creed franchise as well as a live-action cinematic trailer called, "Rise".

What happened to the developers stating that the game would not be entirely black and white? Both the live-action and gameplay trailers focus almost entirely on the American struggle...the live-action trailer in particular shows no British character. Not every British soldier was a monster, just like not every American one was a hero.

i think i just figured out the ending of the series. remember the phrase "nothing's true everything is permitted"? well in the end desmond will discover that the first civilization never existed and that he is living in a videogame world. ubisoft just went m. night shyamalan on us...the happening shyamalan not the sixth sense shyamalan.

I was really underwhelmed by the slow pacing and general tedium of the first Assassin's Creed. I picked up #2 on a whim and was utterly blown away by how much fun it was. They've been consistently fun ever since.

@Angus666 They say that, but every trailer so far that i have seen has only been British being killed. Though, this may just be marketing, who'd kick up the least, and let's face it, we've grown used to being the bad guys in American films etc.
