It's a movie property video game, most of those are just terrible. A very very select few have not.

Yeah, this is gonna be kiddy as all hell, if only we had a 'Marvel Ultimate Alliance/X-Men Legends' type RPG for Avengers..... Wish that damn company didn't go bankrupt, would've loved that First Person game.

Activision is a great company, I mean come on...Spiderman: shattered dimensions, CoD: Black ops & modern Warfere 3 and so on. The only big mistake they did was probably xmen destiny (honestly it was CRAP) but I think this game might be a good one, hopefully!

But I will look forward to the other upcoming games from activision, for example amazing spiderman and of course CoD 9. Yayy!

Not all movie games are bad.

This kind of sounds like L.A. Noire with the interrogations and study locations. It could be a cheap version of that.

C'mon, Marvel. Give us a good videogame, the ONE thing DC is truly beating you at. Get the guys who put MASS EFFECT together to do an Avengers game.

^^^DC is also beating Marvel in animation.

This will probably be a mediocre game. Most movie tie-ins are.

you dont want an avengers game based on the movie, it will be such a piece of crap. An avengers game would be sweet but not a movie tie in.

I really like that it's taken a similar approach to the Ghostbusters VG: you playing a new recruit and learning the ropes.

I hope the game turns out good. The last MIB game I played was on Playstation. It was based on the animated series. That was a terrible game.

@JillValenfield I agree that Activision makes good games, but their business plans suck when it comes to the COD games. They charge and arm and a leg for DLC, then release a new game every year? Not to mention a paid subscription to COD Elite(to get all the special perks).

They must think people are made of money. That's why I don't buy DLC for COD games, and only stick with the Modern Warfare series. I do think TASM video game will be awesome though. I hope it's as good as the SM2 movie tie-in video game.

Mgeoff88, you got a good point there and I really forgot the stupid DLC part with those games. But I gotta agree with you, modern warefare is WAY more worth it compared to some other CoDs. But of course, even with lots of negative things you cant simply hate these games, because they are a part of a beloved and popular franchise...its like with the RE games, they get worse every time capcom release a new game - but I cant hate the franchise because of its incredible story and characters and so on...

The video game based on spiderman two...is one of the greatest movie-based games ever made (too bad it wasnt that popular when it was released) and after seeing trailers and other stuff I might think that Amazing spiderman will be similar to spiderman 2 :)

@JillValenfield That's true, the games are fun, but I just wish the COD games didn't come out so often. It costs more money and it over saturates the market. You know, people are getting tired of the COD franchise.

At least the RE games are released every two years, well, not this year but still. And to me RE5 is just as good as RE4(finally played it). The style of the games differ from each other: RE4 is more like a classic RE game, where as RE5 is more action oriented. But Both are still great games IMO.

Yah, it was a great game for a movie tie-in game. I have a good feeling about The Amazing Spider-Man game. I think it will be a lot like Spider-Man 2. You know, if you're really into gaming and have an Xbox 360. Hit me up on there: my gamertag is Masta Dragon. :)
