Marvel Heroes is the massively multiplayer online game where you get to play as your favorite Marvel Comics super-heroes! Stop criminals in their tracks with Spider-Man's web shooters. Sling Captain America's famous shield into a horde of HYDRA goons. Unleash the lightning of Storm against the anti-mutant Purifiers. Or play fan favorites like Cable, Deadpool, Ms. Marvel, or dozens of others.

In this free-to-play game, you get to experience a world-spanning storyline written by Brian Michael Bendis featuring iconic locations and classic scenes drawn from the history of Marvel Comics.

Bendis seems to write anything prominent to do with marvel. His Dark Avengers run was ok, even though he got absurdly lazy when it came to the Sentry('im gonna explain his powers...he's all-powerful, there.). But everything else becomes a snooze with long conversations about nothing.

PC only? Got a pretty decent work laptop, but it's integrated graphics... No way it will run this. Release it for PS3, DCUO has been pretty successful since it became available for free, and there's a lot more people using consoles than with a PC with a dedicated graphics card...

That actually looks pretty good. I doubt my PC will be able to run this though.

I hope they're still planning to release this on Xbox.

Ha ha, that is one random team: Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, The Punisher, and Deadpool.

@TheGambitFreak I remember that too. Champions Online was supposed to be on Xbox, but it never happened. Fingers crossed Marvel Heroes will be an exception.

Do you know how closely it plays the Diablo three? Meaning is it the same mouse functions with special skills set up through the numbers on the top of the keyboard?

I ask this because of my disability (no use of my hands or fingers). But I can operate the mouse and push some key buttons with verbal control-thanks! I'm so excited about this game I hope I can play!

Give me a Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 or a reboot. The first one was amazing and the second was ok, but was generally disappointing.

I'm in the beta now and so far I'm not really thrilled with it. Good thing it is free. I was hoping for controls where you use the WASD keys but no, you can only use the mouse for movement and a few keys for special moves.

Dionysios, I may give it a try. I presently use a Mac, but I do have a copy of Windows 7, it's just a matter of taking the time to install onto the hard drive. I'll let you know how that goes.

I'm in the beta and I love it. Since it's from the maker Diablo the play style is very Diablo. I really enjoy it can't wait to play with friends. Wish I could tell ya'll more but part of being in the beta is agreeing not to say really anything about the beta.

Dionysios what is your gamername/tag in the beta? I just got in two days ago when they did the Q/A on marvel giving out free beta codes how long you been in?

good news Jaspion they actually have that in some of the videos so I get to talk about it. I think in this video you see Iron Man flying around. David talks about it in some of the other videos. A couple of days ago had an hour session with gamespot, its on Gazillion's website.

But it is a skill and while you are flying you can't attack but you can fly to an area then float down and fight the mob/creeps.

I don't know about this. The idea is great, but it doesn't ring my bell that much. If they had merged City of Heroes with the DCUO and would put that into the Marvel franchise I'd be there headfirst. But to make only a Diablo clone doesn't sound that fresh to me...
But I'll give it a try, I guess...
