As far as I know, there's never actually been a comic book based on the hit Grand Theft Auto video game series (surprising, eh?) but I'm sure that you'll appreciate this nonetheless! Unveiled by Rockstar literally just a few minutes ago, here is the first trailer for the highly anticipated fifth installment in the popular franchise. And judging from the impressive teaser, it looks like they're taking the action back to San Andreas.



Well, the graphics are certainly very impressive, while speculation has already begun that the lead character spotted in the trailer may in fact be Grand Theft Auto: Vice City's protagonist, Tommy Vercetti. Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!

[frick]ing awesome, I'm liking the fact there's another bank heist mission...Three Leaf Clover was the best GTA mission ever in GTA IV. Apparently there's a bunch of leaked information that came out a couple days ago about game details and specifics...

GTA: San Andreas IS the best GTA. It remained on the top spot at gamefaqs.com for for Top 10 Games 2 years after it's release. Major replayability, most likely due to great storytelling, A-List voiceovers, fun side missions, and one of the earliest and BEST executed character customizations on a 2G console.

This GTA will have great graphics no doubt, but they really have to outdo themselves. Better graphics won't make it a long standing hitter.

It seems like they took Vercetti and put him in San Andreas. He hated the heat in Vice City and he was From Liberty City. San Andreas is the perfect mid point.....AWESOME!!!!

You know I once wrote a story that wasn't necessarily comic book related, that said it still had better ties than this.....

SA is the best GTA for me, Vice city is 2nd and it's because of the soundtrack :)

knossis - "multiple storylines involving all three protagonists" . . . if they make a story structure to pay homage to PULP FICTION/ RESERVOIR DOGS/ JACKIE CHAN/ KILL BILL . . . all based out of Los Angeles that would rock!

Kill Bill was all over the place, but it was partly in LA, but can be placed in either Red, Bone or Flint County.

Hope not too late to incorporate!

I love that the day before the announcement of the trailer, I looked up potential GTA V news and there was...nothing. The very next day, the trailer release date was announced lol What a coincedence

And here we are, GTA is looking fantastic as usual and San Andreas! That was a BIG surprise, I was hoping Vice City but [frick] it, I dont care,its GTA V. I have been waiting for it for ages!

As long as they do justice to the original San Andreas, apart from taking out the pointless deserts, I dont want the layout changed, just put more content in it. But above all, make it feel like an updated version of the original San Andreas, because it continues to be one of my favourite GTAs!

I was a bit disappointed about that too, but I think Rockstar are implying its out next year. They released the GTA IV trailer a year before its release date so it will probably be the same this time around

I absolutely love these games, it's like Pulp Fiction on steroids, very funny, very dramatic and very entertaining, cant wait 2 get my hands on this!

Looks cool, and it will interesting if they set it back in San Andreas. I just wanna know what the time period will be, and the dude they showed in the wife beater made think of Cj.
