Urghh not saying all connect games are crap but tried out Star wars connect and wasn't impressed by how difficult the simplest of things were to do.

But I'd have much preferred this to have been controller based oh well one day we shall have a decent Marvel xbox game (not that we've never had a decent game).

@Doomxfactor To be fair superhero games in general normally are, i would say Arkham games and Spider-Man 2 are the only ones I can think of that were ever any good.
Knightrider
Knightrider - 6/4/2012, 4:14 PM
However as I mentioned in the JL Injustice comment section, why can't we just get a decent Avengers or JL game like JL Heroes or Ultimate Alliance?

@The Dpool I think in terms of Kinect, it has suffered much like the Wii did. Companies did lazy tie-ins rather than fully exploit the product to its full potential.

I remember after seeing IM1 buying IM1 for Wii, in my head I though "Wow I will need to put my arm out to fire each hand canon, then if I bring both arms back quickly it will fire the chest canon...How Awesome"

However what it got was a lazy port, where the Wii'c unique aspects were never fully used.

I have high hopes despite the fact that it is being made by Ewwwwwbisoft.

@Knightrider - You didn't enjoy Ultimate Alliance?
Knightrider
Knightrider - 6/4/2012, 4:22 PM
@BuckyCap I did, I am just saying I would rather have another game in that setup, or like JL Heroes, than Beat'em ups, MMO's etc.

I know might be in the minority, but I really enjoyed games such as JLH and MUA and would love to see a new one.

Spideys eyes are WAY too big.

And they should use the movie costumes. Probably cuz of film rights :/
But it would of been nice to see wolverine (Hugh jackman) fight with iron man ( RDJ)

guys, they confirmed that this game will be available to play on the kinect. It's main function is a controller, quit bitching.

dgabbor,
There was an arcade side scrolling beat-em' up called Captain America and the Avengers from 1991, which allowed play as Cap, Iron Man, Hawkeye and Vision. Four years later there was also a fighting game, Avengers: Galactic Storm. Hawkeye and Namor were also playable characters in Sega's 1991 Spider-man arcade game. All of these fine games are available for download for the M.A.M.E. emulator.

The trailer was cool, but why did Ubisoft make this Kinect Only? The game won't do nearly as well.

And I'm not about to buy a Kinect when the next Xbox is set to come out next year.

Why doesn't Marvel do a Pixar movie with some of the characters.. all in the same Disney family right?? that way you don't have to change costume design , these look great but wouldn't ever translate to real film! (wolverine in particular) - give the fans what they want!! Imagine how cool a high quality full length movie could be with great writing and all your favorite heros as you grew up seeing them in full costume! I'm just sayin!

@TheGambitFreak where did you find that you could play the game with out Kinect. Because the webpage lists Kinect as a requirement.
