TellTale Games starts up a video game series that will be based off of Bill Willingham's Vertigo/DC Comics book FABLES.

Fables was actually announced last year, but the buzz from Walking Dead and Back To The Future made it almost obscure. It is expected to release in Q3 of 2012.

The short description on TellTale's site for Fables, which is located at this link: http://www.telltalegames.com/fables suggests it will be faithful to the comics.

It reads "Created by Bill Willingham, the Eisner Award winning and chart-topping Fables re-imagines classic characters from fairy tales and folklore, spinning their stories wild, brutally violent, mature and often un-expected direction".

It seems like this could turn out as nasty as TellTale's newest video game series "The Walking Dead".

I honestly have never read a FABLES comic book but will definitely check some out as I am a huge fan of TellTale video games!
