VIDEO GAMES: Yet Another BATMAN: ARKHAM Teaser

Last week the Batman Arkham Facebook page teased a major announcement for New Year's Eve. They posted this image today:



It's not much to go on, but I suspect that an actual announcement will come by midnight tonight. Don't be surprised if it has to do with the next round of DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins. A member of the development team recently said that the next DLC piece after Initiation would have something to do with the first time Batman met a major character that he forges an important relationship with. Quite frankly, I think it has to do with Dick Grayson/ Robin. Expect it to be of the same length that the Harley Quinn's Revenge was for Arkham City. I know a lot of people are hoping that the next game in the franchise will be announced today, but I doubt it. The current installment is still selling hot at full retail price on store shelves. Spring seems like a more realistic time for that announcement. Stay tuned to CBM for the latest.

Arkham Origins is a great game, but not even close to the other two.

Asylum and City are just epic.

Isra: It's a very close race. I love how Arkham Origins gave us a wide open Gotham City, but Arkham City is still probably my favorite.

Asylum was shit!
City was the best, great story, cool world
Origins was very good, but City just tops it

Does anyone remember the Batman and Robin game for PS 1? Although the control's were horrible (among other things) it had a lot of elements that I would love to see in the next Arkham game. Use of multiple vehicles, choice of gadgets per mission and choice of batman robin or batgirl. I do think Origins is the closest to my vision of an all around batman experience, but Asylum was so charming as a game overall.

unknownfacts: Batman and Catwoman had their first meeting in the Arkhamverse in Arkham Origins Blackgate (PS Vita, 3DS), but I wouldn't rule out an appearance by her.

I would be cool to see something along those lines. I was hoping that they would extend the gameplay on Deathstroke though. Like Catwoman in Arkham City.

I have to agree with City,Origins,then Asylum.However Asylum will always be dear to me since i first got it around Halloween and it really does have a creepy feel to it,but i love the wide open feel of Gotham in Origins (and all of the nods to the other two)

Way to many glitches for me,
