I been waiting for this game since my childhood. If Aliens wasn't so damn popular, we could of been got a game like this based off the more awesome movie, Alien.

(I love Aliens)

I wouldn't even trust gaming reviews from the big sites. If I wasn't getting this game regardless, I would wait for some small youtubers to review it or go on some gaming forums.

Looks pretty bad-ass - Love the Alien movies, especially the first three, for sure... *cool*/P :)

20 something year old Sigourney Weaver in her panties made the franchise great!

Naaahh, I'm joking.

Paul Reiser made the franchise great.

I too have seen some mixed reviews but most of them are positive. I think IGN was too crucial I think they gave it a 5.9/10?? While other sites gave it 80/100, 7.8/10 and etc...

Computer and Video Games 8/10
Destructoid 8.5/10
Electronic Gaming Monthly 8/10
Eurogamer 8/10
Game Informer 7.75/10

GameTrailers 7.4/10
IGN 5.9/10
Joystiq 4/5 stars
Official Xbox Magazine 9/10

I rarely go based off reviews, but based on what I've heard about Destiny is that it's quite repetitive? I was already skeptical about getting that one so yeah I saved a few bucks there. Anyone else here get it?

Prometheus was great, its not an "Alien movie".

I've heard it's good but the missions are really hard and punishing for those used to FPS shooters, it's not a shooter - It's a puzzle-solver and you spend more time hiding from the Alien if you want to succeed and progress in the missions. Luckily you can save anywhere in the game.

I heard it was shit. This franchise reaallly needs to get its shit together.

@TheRationalNerd Oh yes. That game is repetitive. It's not all bad but I wished I didn't pre-order it.

I'm cutting back on pre-ordering games...especially since those "exclusive" items/weapons/unlocks/etc. you can get with the season pass.lol

I already have this game pre-downloaded on my xbox one. I'm just waiting for 12:01am to play it. I'm really hoping this game is the next gen Dead Space. I'd like to see a successful Alien video game franchise.

@McGee You're confused. What made the Alien franchise was Paul Reiser in Sigorney Weaver's panties.
