Last year at SDCC and Blizzcon, Legendary Pictures, along with Blizzard Entertainment, showed a small clip of what was to come in the upcoming Warcraft movie; however, the footage was only seen by those who attented the pannel. It is being reported that this weekend, we will fianlly get our first real look at the movie many gamers have been looking forward to. Expect footage to first hit online this Saturday after the SDCC reveal. The movie has also been moved from March to June 2016, but who can blame them for not wanting to compete with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?
Warcraft is an upcoming, feature-length motion picture, based on the popular award-winning Massively Multiplayer Online game World of Warcraft. It is directed by Duncan Jones (Source Code) and written by Duncan Jones and Charles Leavitt. The movie will star Travis Fimmel, Robert Kazinskey, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbel, Clancy Brown, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Ruth Negga. Warcraft is currently in post-production and is slated for a June 2016 release.
