As The Game Awards draw to a close, Paramount+ has debuted the first official trailer for their long-awaited Halo live-action television series, which hails from executive producer Steven Spielberg.
The trailer opts to stay relatively light on action, but we do catch a look at Master Chief and a few select cast members. The footage plays out to an intriguing voiceover from Cortana (Jen Taylor), who teases "a new beginning."
Pablo Schreiber will star as Master Chief, with a supporting cast consisting of Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha, Charlie Murphy as Makee, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Olive Gray as Miranda Keyes, Kate Kennedy as Kai-125, Natasha Culzac as Riz-028, Bentley Kalu as Vannak-134, and Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes, with Jen Taylor returning as the voice of Cortana.
While a premiere date wasn't attached, the series is expected to start streaming in early 2022, so expect some major updates over the next few weeks.
