The Princess Of Themyscira Prepares To Ride Off Into Battle In This New WONDER WOMAN Still
A new official image from Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman has just been released, giving us a look at the Princess of Themyscira (Gal Gadot) about to head off into battle and make her debut to the world.
It's the calm before the storm in this latest official image from Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman. The pic was released by the official Wonder Woman UK Twitter account earlier today, and it features a look at Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) getting ready to ride off into battle with the caption, "What she does, is not up to you."
There's not much to go with it this latest image, but from the look of it, this moment appears to take place before Diana's big Wonder Woman debut in the trench battle sequence featured in the recent trailers. It'll be interesting to see how Diana handles things on her own before she eventually meets Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), and the rest of the Justice League.
Wonder Woman hits theaters June 2, 2017.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg.
