We recently found out that former Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal had joined the cast of Wonder Woman 2 in a mysterious role, and now a new rumor suggests that Warner Bros. may be looking to add another highly in-demand star to Diana's second solo big-screen outing.
Apparently, there are two new "decently sized" male villain parts in the film ("a slippery conman type and an imposing businessman"), and According to Jeff Sneider of Meet The Movie Press, Riz Ahmed "was being looked at" for one of them.
Now, that could indicate that the role he was being eyed for is the one Pascal ultimately nabbed, but if not, there's still a chance the Rogue One actor could wind up joining the production.
Granted it's not a lot to go on, but hey, it's fairly quiet out there today!
