Wonder Woman 1984 is currently being filmed, and as we’ve come to understand, the movie takes place in the 80s and for some unknown reason, Chris Pine, as Steve Trevor, is back for another ride alongside Gal Gadot.

Now, a new video on Twitter seems to showcase what appears to be a riot in the middle of the street. The scene takes place in Washington D.C., and things are not looking lovely. We can see protestors doing their thing, and first responders moving in to give aid.

At the same time, Wonder Woman is moving through the area with Steve Trevor. We should point out that in this scene, Steve Trevor appears to be hurt, so if that’s real, then it ultimately means he’s not just in Wonder Woman’s head, but a real human being.

This is where we have to wonder how Steve managed to survive the blast. Did Diana Prince went out of her way to bring back, or did he pull off a magnificent Houdini? We can’t say for sure just yet.

Still, one should take into consideration that the first Wonder Woman film took place during the first World War, and this move is set in 1984. With this in mind, shouldn’t Steve Trevor be an old man? Bear in mind World War 1 began in 1914 and ended in 1918.

Steve Trevor shouldn’t be alive in the 80s, so it’s safe to say something magical or supernatural is at work here, and we can’t wait to find out what it is.

@DeadWade213 - And if Aquaman does well, it'll have a guaranteed sequel for 2021 at least. Maybe even Reeves finishes The Batman script.

Steve Trevor should be dead

i wonder if that pool he was in in Wonder Woman has something to do with him surviving and not aging?

Still not a fan of another prequel but maybe it's a sign that Jenkins is disconnecting the franchise from the other stuff (if DCEU is not the name then wtf is it called?). HISHE made Chris Pine as Hal Jordan in their “How Justice League should have ended” and Diana is attracted to him which I like, it's a one time thing in the comics that I think will be good for this universe though wouldn't be my first choice.

Where are the detractors that call out the MCU for having 'meaningless deaths' ?

What a really cool video. It took me a moment to find Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. I think I caught them to the right of the fire truck where she is helping him walk.

So did anyone else notice that Infinity War passed Titanic at the domestic box office? That also means it passed JL worldwide but even mentioning that means I hate DC and are a "Marble Fanboy". What a world we live in.

Unless Diana was the only woman Steve was with, there’s a chance this Steve Trevor could be his great grandson or something

I'm guessing that Hades is still around, and he claimed Trevor's soul. Now he has decided to use Trevor to force Diana to do what he wants. How Cheetah fits into that im not sure.

@TheBeard - The great-grandson theory is a little difficult to buy into.
