Ever since Pedro Pascal was cast in Wonder Woman 1984 fans have speculated about which character he might be playing, and now we may finally have some details.

According to SuperBroMovies, the former Game of Thrones actor will indeed be playing a God in disguise , much like Ares in the first movie. Though his character is not named in the report, it certainly sounds like he'll be Hades, as many of us had assumed.

Apparently, Diana makes a deal with this deity to resurrect Steve Trevor, which also explains how the deceased fighter pilot played by Chris Pine is a part of the sequel. The finer points of this deal remain a mystery, but it's not too much of a stretch to assume that Wondy doesn't read the small print.

Obviously we'll have to take all of this with the usual pinch of salt, but the the SBM guys have had some solid scoops in the past so it's worth some discussion at the very least.

@Ha1frican

One thing to look forward to is that they’re filming with real IMAX film.

If anything it will look beautiful.

@Ha1frican - i could see this being true and if its the case, then i feel like i know the direction itll go into. So diana learns in the first act where to find hades and makes a deal to bring back trevor. However, the nature of the deal leads to basically hell on earth. So much of the movie is her attempting to save everyone and keep steve alive however after the climactic fight, its shown that the problem is only getting worse. So she has a heart to heart with steve where they both realize the only way to end things is to take back the deal. Itd be a great way of addressing the resurrection trope in these superhero stories by literally making that the problem of the movie.
