Thanks to the ongoing pandemic, Wonder Woman 1984 will be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max on Christmas Day. However, as the streaming service is currently exclusive to the U.S., the DC Comics sequel will be heading to theaters overseas starting December 16th.

As Variety explains, that's being done in a bid to combat piracy, but poor quality versions will almost certainly be viewed by U.S. fans before December 25th (particularly if they don't want to subscribe to HBO Max), while those overseas will no doubt wait until they can find the movie online if they'd rather not risk braving their local cinema. So, either way, piracy - and spoilers - are sure to be an issue!

At any rate, Warner Bros. has now revealed the international release dates for Wonder Woman 1984 across the globe:

Wednesday, December 16 - Belgium, Bulgaria. Egypt, Estonia, France, Greece, Holland, Iceland, Indonesia, Portugal, South Africa, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Me, when my country isn't mentioned (even though I didn't plan to go to the cinema anyways):

I still don't get why HBOMax is not available in other parts of the world, especially during this pandemic it would have been the right time to make it available to everyone in the world.

OT: the Avengers game is at flat 50% off right now on PS store. If there was ever any doubt that this game failed, this should settle it.
