If you enjoyed spending time with Robin Wright's General Antiope in Wonder Woman, you'll no doubt be very excited to learn that she will return for the sequel, Wonder Woman 1984. Now, you'll no doubt remember that she was gunned down in the movie so rather than her resurrection being a mystery on the same level as Steve Trevor's, it's been confirmed that the character will appear in flashbacks.

That revelation came during a profile on the House of Cards star in Porter and it's said that she's heading to Spain for a sequence which will also involve Connie Nielsen's Hippolyta. Further details obviously aren't revealed but common sense says that this could be to set up the sequel's villain as we learn more about how they tie into the history of the Amazonians. That's just speculation for now.

Are you excited to see Antiope return in Wonder Woman 1984? Let us know your thoughts below.
