Wonder Woman 1984 is currently set to arrive in theaters on Christmas Day, and there's a lot of excitement surrounding the sequel. The 2017 movie was a critical and commercial hit, and one that's created something of a dream team in director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot.

In a piece shared by Vanity Fair, it's revealed that the latter was paid only $300,000 for playing Diana Prince in Wonder Woman. However, for this follow-up, Gadot scored a $10 million pay day! That rightly puts her on an even footing with male action stars working in Hollywood, but Jenkins was quick to point out that Gadot isn't someone that's motivated by money.

"Gal is someone whose primary focus is doing good with her character, and that is such a special thing, to have a Wonder Woman like that in the role," the filmmaker explains. "She’s not looking for glory or fame- she’s always asking, 'What can we do with this that will be good for the world?'"

The site has a whole piece up about Gadot along with a photoshoot on the beach. We can't share those with you for copyright reasons, but you can view them by following the link in the Tweet below.
