Thats it, 32 eps. Damn I remember this show being on forever... Well if this is all of it I might have to buy it. I think I would prefer one big box set.

I loved this cartoon..but some of the voices were painful to listen too! I think Wolverine and the X Men is actually a bit better...

Yep, 33 not 32. You know what that means? EVEN MORE GOODNESS FOR YOUR MONEY!!!! I loved this SOOOOOOO much! With the exception of the Phoenix Saga, is it just me or did that just suck balls? I can't tell you what I hate about it because I don't know! Maybe another chance is in order because I'm getting this set and no Phoenix can stop me!

ComicChic - 4/24/2009, 1:05 PM
It was only on forever because they replayed the Phoenix Saga over... and over... and over... and over again... which when I think about it is right in line with the comic books! God I hate Phoenix Saga. Other then that great show!
ThunderCougarFalconBird
ThunderCougarFalconBird - 4/24/2009, 1:08 PM
It's not just me then! Maybe it was all the replays but I'm sure I didn't like it 1st time round either. A fly in an otherwise great soup!

These have been available in region 2 (Europe) for quite a while now and there are more volumes than the original 2 which is why not all of the episodes are available right away!!

Season 1 & 2 are 13 eps each.

Season 3 is 26 eps. Still need the remaining 19 eps for this season.

Season 4 was 14 eps.

Season 5 was animated by Saban so the quality was lower and there were only 10 eps.

Hopefully, the remaining 43 eps will be following. For a while, I though Saban was going to keep the X-Men tied up over distribution rights. Saban isn't big on releasing full season DVDs, even though they would make a fortune(see Power Rangers).

Most definitely one of the best animated series ever. Hopefully all the episodes will be released on later volumes. Its a must have for X-Men fans.

I can't really stand Wolverine & The X-Men. It has some cool concepts but it's all over the place and they're trying to force too much in. One episode they're fighting the Brotherhood, then Gambit pops in, then all of a sudden Wolverine is being taken by Nick Fury to fight the Hulk, then Mojo has his guys attacking Nightcrawler on a ship headed for Genosha... how about sticking to one thing? Granted, FOX's X-Men did that, but it wasn't as hard to follow as this and the bouncing around made sense. I personally think that FOX's X-Men was the best cartoon series ever.

Well I think wolverine and the X-men is meant to be like batman brave and bold, even though they have some cool fun stuff. its not meant for story or the adult fan, there just ACTION PACKED FUN for the kids. So yeah...

It's about time. This is still the best adaptation of the X-men I've ever seen. All of the greatest heroes and villains are here. This show is the reason I got hooked on comics. The best thing about it was the range of stories it covered. My favorite being Cable's and his never ending battle with Apocalypse across time.

There's actually 76 episodes it ran for 5 seasons. There only releasing the first two seasons and the first 5 of the third. You can check it out at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_X-Men_episodes for the full listing.

love that cartoon, only one problem wit it tho: IT HAD NO SENSE OF CONTINUITY!!! that is the only flaw with it, other than that my favorite comic cartoon ever.

76 episodes of fun! I really enjoyed it, it was an entertaining series.

Oh and someone mentioned Jubilee? She was created so Marvel could try and capitalize on the success they had with Kitty Pryde. So Jubilee is basically an attempted clone of Kitty Pryde, that ended up Asian so the team would have more ethnic diversity.

Jubilee actually was in the first "X-Men" movie. She was shown in the classroom in the background. She was an Asian girl with big loop earrings and a yellow coat. I believe it was the scene where Bobby made a rose out of ice for Rogue. Not a major role, obviously, but she was in it technically.
THEHAWK

Jubilee was in X2 as well. She was in the pit, Storm called out her name.

I agree with the comments about the Phoenix Saga. It dragged the show down that they replayed it so often. Looking back I don't care too much, but it makes me wonder, with the story behind Phoenix drilled into fans heads so many times, how the [frick] did they manage to butcher the story so thoroughly in the movies?

I have been waiting for this too long. I feel I owe someone an angry kick in the genitals for not giving this to us sooner. I loved the show because it was the first time I'd ever seen the X-Men outside the comic medium.
