X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

2nd biggest problem I have with this movie...I don't get a damn about 90% of the characters in the movie...bring on the reboot. First Class with the actual First Class!

LOL Darkmatter!!! These posters for first class are utterly horrible i swear!!! Aesthetically they don't resemble the x-men at all...everyone just looks like a bunch of ordinary white people....this film's promotional campaign is the worst i have ever seen...all the teenagers whom fox is aiming at to grab their cash aren't even going to be attracted to this film because literally it doesn't resemble any other x-men property ever produced...all those little kids, who are a big portion of movie goers are going to be soooooooooo dissapointed when they find out there is no wolverine, no cyclops, no storn, none of the characters they are familiar with.... just watch...

trust me...i doubt your comparison will have any validity to many of the people resistant to see this film...it seems like you go out of your way to prove to others that this movie may be good but i think deep down inside you are trying to convince yourself...

If they want to keep me interested in this movie, they have to stop the amateur photoshop promos. Make it stop. Just skip the pics and go straight to the movie. These shots don't help at all. And what is that, Christmas tree balls in the back?

ComicBookGoth The [frick]ing helmet is sick! Does it really get the color finish, or is that a fan manip? I do admit the comicbook helmet was the first and ionly thing that made me raise a brow to this film.

we saw a crimson rear veiw in one of the trailers, but no shot of Colored helmet from the front.
so i jus gave it the classic purple tint.

ComicBookGoth Oh yeah, I think he has on the cape in that shot too. They'll probably go with a silver trim instead of purple, but we're lucky to be getting that design at all. Nice manip.

I like the style, but not sure its X-Men. They should really be showing more action shots in those yellow suits since they're about the most accurate thing in the movie.
