I suppose they can bring him back from one of the patchwork fragments that make up Battleworld.

Am I correct in perceiving that the thing that has changed, Storm is referring to, is the Inhuman outbreak across the world? So would this story be about Storm trying to preserve mutantkind in the face of the NuHumans?

Also, let's here it for Magik. Keeping boob-window costumes alive.

Oh, I wasn't aware the terrigen mists were killing the mutants.

@BruceWillis Characters should be allowed to evolve. That said, not every change is a welcome one.

@Superior

It's an old art of my Spidey costume design.

I have been thinking about doing a new one, lately.

@dethpillow I thought Sue would just go back to being an Agent of SHIELD now. Since they bothered to retcon her history to say that, she has always been one of SHIELD's "secretest" agents.

I like Franklin. Kid's had a crazy life. I've always wanted to do this comic idea where he, along with Mayday and Benjamin Parker get stranded back in time from an MC2-like universe(basically like what is happening now with Miguel from 2099)and they revived the old Slingers team, adding Billy Connors with a controlled version of his father's condition. This wouldn't be part of the main universe though. Billy is dead and the editors insist Mayday is as well in that universe. This would be a universe where Gwen's kids really were Peter's and not Norman's(and their real names turned out to be Richard and Mary) and Peter, MJ and Aunt May lived together in this crazy two-story house with two 11-year olds (time travel Ben, Richard) and two 16-year olds (timetravel Mayday, Mary)and the infant daughter Mayday. And sometimes Mayday would have to change her own diaper... But anyway, they all live under the same roof, go to the same school, all have Spider-Powers, but Mary and Richard are wholly uninterested in being heroes and would rather spend time absorbed in "normal people lives" because of all they'd missed out on being kept secret by Norman before Peter rescued them. And all the while, Mayday and her little brother Benjamin are keeping this mysterious secret that their father is supposed to do some big crazy world-changing/saving act of heroism in the near future but they can't tell him what all is supposed to go down or it could damage the continuum in a way even their time-displaced presence couldn't ever hope to.

And back to Franklin, he and his younger self resonate at close range and as much as he misses his parents and wants to see his old home, the best he can do is peek in on them through a 30-story window because if he let's them know he is there they will want to get involved and it could trigger some kind of resonant vision between himself and his younger self that would let his younger self learn things he should not know for several more years. Deeply personal things that his family has done that are kept hidden even in the future he comes from.

@STORMKAMI

even if they could why would they want to? Three of the people you named have ties to either or both parties. So why get involved in a squabble you're basically a nonfactor in.

The comics held hostage by the greed of Marvel / Disney CEOs. Truth is the latter would be fine with it if they could sway the public to forget about the X-Men in favor of the Inhumans. The casualty is the great body of work put forward by Claremont and many others, which is diminished by narratives that only develop in order to sell movie tickets.

I watch "Agents of Shield" and rather like it. But stop f#cking with my comics. If you can compromise with Sony, you can compromise with Fox. Find a way.

Storm is more interesting when she is leading. I figure she will take the ball and all of a sudden understand Scott and eventually forgive him , tell him he was right all along and we can go back to the Blue/Gold team that worked so well. After Beast gets kicked out of course. I just really hope this is good. Xm n is the last new comic I read in the this crazy comic book age we are in. And Magik is awesome. With her, Storm has really got something.

X-Men has been awful for the last 4 years. This was their chance to revamp it. It doesn't look like they've learned and lessons.
Or maybe they just don't care, like the editing on these books suggests.

X-Men has been awful since the early 90's, with a few brief exceptions. As for this issue... that's not Professor X. He's not back. It's a memory from Storm. That's all.

@whatever the guys name is who tagged me

I don't care. Kill them all marvel. No more mutants. The X-men are only ever interesting when they are dealing with other people.
