COMICS: Check Out A Preview Of DEATH OF WOLVERINE #2

Yep, that's Iron Man's helmet in the thumbnail. It seems our favorite mutant berserker's demise will somehow be tied into a shady deal for Tony Stark's armor! Take a look at an unlettered preview of Steve McNiven and Jay Leisten's second issue after the jump.

Guess we'll have to wait until September to find out what's going on there. At the link below you can also see a preview of Punisher #9, which features the man himself taking on Crossbones and Black Widow.

This reminds me of Dirty Dancing for some reason.

That interior art looks great. Looks to be a pretty interesting story arc.

I still want to know why he isn't dead from adamantium poisoning if he lost his healing factor. Or is that what does kill him?

His healing factor kept the poisoning at bay. I haven't read a solo Wolverine book since he lost the adamantium and his healing factor was more efficient. I think it was around the time Onslaught was introduced.

And I lied. I read Old Man Logan.

Hank McCoy made him some medication to stop his bones poisoning him. I remember reading the Genosha storyline around 25 years ago, and when he was stripped of his healing factor then, if I recall correctly he said that he had Leukaemia.

I will admit, for someone who's lost interest in Wolverine thanks to the over-use of him in the films, this makes me really interested in Wolverine again. Just the short road of his death is super intriguing, and then imagine him brought back. I haven't been following any of this unfortunately, but through threads I'm really digging the idea of him not actually dying, but a metamorphosis of such drastic change that the old Wolverine really is "dead" and he's become something else or new.

Also since when did Tony Stark have double tattoo sleeves?
