According to reports that I have translated, the scene being filmed at the Buddhist temple, was a funeral. A grand funeral no less. Today was the last day of filming at the temple, and the crew is expected to head to Hiroshima next.

The Wolverine will be directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day), from a script written by Christopher McQuarrie.. The cast includes: Hugh Jackamn (Logan/Wolverine), Svetlana Khodchenkova (Viper), Hiroyuki Sanada (Shingen), Hal Yamanouchi (Yashida), Tao Okamoto (Mariko), Rila Fukushima (Yukio), Brian Tee (Norubo Mori), and Will Yun Lee (Kenuichio Harada/Silver Samurai). The film will claw into theaters July 26, 2013.

I don't think they'll put him in a costume since no one else in the previous movies where wearing costumes.

thats probably an after the funeral scene.......

In my minds eye I just saw ninjas going through a ceremonial dress-up interspersed with logan doing the same and when he reached into his bag he pulls out the original mask and it was worn and torn and when he put it on it looked wild!

It doesnt last long in the fight though, falls to the ground in a slo mo fashion to kick off an intensification of the fight scenes.....just sayin.

Wolvie should be shorter than that Japanese actor.
Hugh has done a great job but I would like to see this being passed on to another (shorter) actor, some stocky gruff 5'' angry looking bloke.

Reboot Indy and give that Jackman.

This could go either way, its the director from 3:10 to Yuma, but also the director for Knight and Day. Plus the writer from The Usual Suspects and the writer for The Tourist.

If he wears the costume, the MUA2 suit style is the way to go.

I would want a full mask, yes, but If it was just the suit and no cowl, i'd understand. But where is a Samurai without his headgear?

agree with Loudlon. Jackman's a good actor who was miscast from the beginning. I've gotten over having a tall, dark and handsome Logan on screen. but the fact remains that he is a far cry from the mad berzerker that comic book fans know

I'm not a huge fan of his shorter hair style from what I've seen so far. I think they got his hair right in the first x-men movie. I'm sure it will look better on film tho. It would be amazing to see him finally dawn the mask in this movie. It's a nerdgasm moment that is long over due, lol.
