James McAvoy, the upcoming star of X-Men: First Class, says that he wants to do more sequel movies for X-Men: First Class, and that he thought he was going mad while filming. As he says here:

"It's like any big ridiculous super-budget movie. Anything that size can make you feel like you're going mad, so you have to try to remember that when you watch those films in the cinema, it's an escapist experience."

And,again,he says that he wants to do sequels to X-Men: First Class because they still havn't come up with a convincing reason why he loses his hair:

"We haven't quite figured that one out yet. Maybe he gets really f**king psychotic and goes on a 'Taxi Driver' rampage. But there's so much interesting s**t that has to go down to make him who he becomes. Something f**king incredible has to happen! He can't just go to the hairdresser and they put on a dodgy rinse."

So I think he's just confirmed that in the first movie he loses his ability to walk, but not his hair.

Though I think he looks perfect as a young Xavier, I don't want him back in any sequel. As fullmetal said, any sequel has gotta have Cyclops, Jean, Beast & probly Storm. Meaning it will hav to take place after Wolverine Origins. In that case Xavier will need to be played by an actor looking in his 40s

What's wrong with male pattern baldness as an excuse? It's perfectly reasonable.
