There was speculation that the first couple of New Mutants teasers (well, they're actually more like GIFS) shared on the film's Twitter page related to the dark past of Rahne Sinclair (Maisie Williams), and this latest one definitely seems to be hinting at a crucial scene involving Danielle Moonstar (Blu Hunt).

If you've read the Demon Bear Saga, you'll know that Mirage's first attempt to take down the bear that killed her parents leads her out into the snow-covered forest, where she is badly wounded by the demonic creature. The wintry promo below certainly seems like a foreboding foreshadowing of these events.
We also have a new shot of Alice Braga's Dr. Cecilia Reyes as she keeps an eye on her troubled young patients (prisoners?).
The New Mutants is set to hit theaters next April.
