The New Mutants is shaping up to be one of 2018's most interesting superhero movies but if the Fox/Disney deal goes down, we can probably expect to see this team just the once as the rights to all these heroes and villains will revert to Marvel Studios instead. They'll obviously want to start from scratch when it comes to bringing mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so we'll have to enjoy this lot while we still can. In the meantime, a new poster has been released which you can see below.

It's pretty unconventional for a superhero movie and was accompanied by the tag, "The only thing you have to fear... is yourself." The New Mutants takes place in an asylum and is expected to include The Demon Bear in some form. What it won't be is a conventional X-Men movie but after the release of the teaser, many fans are hoping that the next trailer will show more superpowers as there weren't that many signs of them in Fox's first effort. Either way, it looks really good based on what we've seen.

If marvel does buy over fox, i hope they keep these actors and actress's. Fairly perfect casting in my opinion.

Unlike most characters in the core xmen films weirdly.

@Krampus - Disney won't. Expect a Disney reboot in the same kid-friendly style like SM: Homecominb smh

I grew up with the New Mutants and this looks nothing like it. Really hoping that deal goes through and we get the real X-universe (glimpsed in X2).
