The movie was pretty great until they turned silver Samurai into Iron Monger. That whole third act felt like something out of an Iron Man movie...

Why did they turn Silver Samurai into a mech tech robot? -_-

I enjoyed the movie but I have one question. My question is this, Admantium is the most power metal in the Marvel Universe and it can cut through anything but other Admantiums out there, so how the hell did all these warriors blades stand up to Wolverine's claws???????

I guess we can assume they had admantium swords.......

@ Blackandyellow

Yes in my opinion, I actually really enjoyed the movie. I just watched the directors cut and it was better. My only complaints is Viper because that character was never a mutant and I am shocked they used that character since she is associated with Shield etc.....

And the adamantium issue but that is a minor issue. And last thing was the Silver Samurai, though it really did not bother me as much as it bothered other fans.

@b&y

Definitely recommended. I just picked up the extended cut, and it's awesome. Bloodier, angrier, just beautiful.

Definitely CBM of the year for me. Very well made, the introspective, serious look at Wolvie we've been waiting for.

Third act is different tone, reminds you it's a comic book movie. Silver Samurai change is jarring, so if you're a purist and major changes really throw you off, it'll irk you. But I loved it.

@Black and yellow

Youll enjoy parts but it is crazy how they don't explain crucial plot points
You can only suspend disbelief so long before you'd have to completely indenial to say that this movie really fall s short

I went to the special preview in nyc and got his auto graph I also got a banner with the Japanese art on it I wanted to love it but meh...

Great flick. Just need to get a Blu-Ray player so that I can watch the unrated cut.

That second piece of concept art is awesome IMO. Reminds me of Assassin's Creed.

It was a good movie but I think we had really low expectations so we'd like anything that would have been better than average. If DoFP is good I'm going to give Fox a second chance.

@JoeMomma29: His claws aren't sharp at every angle, only at the bottom and the ends. Most of the time, those swords clanged against the sides of his claws as he blocked them.

Aw God, this movie was [frick]ing terrible. Logan was such a pus-y, crying over a woman he knew for about a month and who he didn't even have a relationship with (Jean). I almost dies of laughter when he said "I'll always love you." WHAT?! THAT WASN'T EVEN YOUR GIRL DUMBASS, THAT WAS SOMEONE ELSE'S WIFE! In the comics you can get away with this because it spans over years but the X trilogy was like 3 weeks....Wolvie's a wuss
