X-MEN Cosplay Sees Athlete Jade Cargill Transform Into A Storm Perfect For The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Athlete and fitness trainer Jade Cargill has shared her impressive take on Storm in new X-Men cosplay photos, and this version of the character is sure to be the one fans are hoping to see in the MCU!

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the planned debut of the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though we're still no closer to knowing when that will actually happen.

It's definitely in the works from Marvel Studios, though, and one character fans are particularly keen to see reinvented is Storm. Ororo Munroe is a huge part of the X-Men, but the mutant's previous big screen appearances didn't really do the hero justice (particularly when she's depicted as being an amazing leader in the comics).

When Storm does join the MCU, here's hoping she looks as comic accurate as this cosplayer!

Jade Cargill, a mental health and online fitness coach, has shared her take on Storm in a series of must-see photos on Instagram. She's actually an aspiring pro wrestler, and was among those who tried out in the WWE Performance Center last year. Based on her Twitter bio, she still plans to pursue that.

Check out Cargill's transformation into Storm below:

10. Natalie Eva Marie As Venom

🎃🕷🕸 #HappyHalloween #Venom

A post shared by Natalie Eva Marie (@natalieevamarie) on

Natalie Eva Marie is a former WWE Superstar who has since broken into acting and modelling.

While rumours persist that she's planning some sort of in-ring return, it appears Natalie is a big comic book fan if her Venom body art is any indication. Clearly inspired by the 2018 movie, this is an eye-catching take on the symbiote we wouldn't say no to seeing brought to the big screen.

She-Venom did have a role in Venom, of course, but the hope is that the character will get the chance to play a larger role in the SPUMC with the upcoming Venom: Let There Be Carnage

9. Cardi B As Scarlet Witch

Cardi B is an American rapper, songwriter, and actress who recently made headlines for "WAP" (we're not explaining it to you, so assuming you're of an appropriate age, go Google it).

She has the most Hot 100 number-one singles and is the only female rap artist to achieve chart-topping singles in two decades, but we're guessing most of you will be more interested in her eye-catching take on the Scarlet Witch. Looking like she's just stepped out of the comics, this costume definitely impresses.

Elizabeth Olsen is set to don something similar - for Halloween, ironically - in Disney+'s WandaVision.

8. Kylie Jenner (And Friends) As The Power Rangers

it’s morphin’ time

A post shared by Kylie 🤍 (@kyliejenner) on

We're not entirely sure what Kylie Jenner does beyond having ties to the Kardashian family, but the social media and reality TV star suited up alongside her friends and possible boyfriend Carter Gregory as the Power Rangers this weekend. For Mighty Morphin fans, this is bound to be appreciated.

A Power Rangers reboot is, of course, in the works, but how cool would a female-led version be?

This photo definitely gives us an idea of what that could look like, and spandex still looks way better than the overly busy CGI outfits which were highlighted in the last Power Rangers movie.

7. Kathryn Newton As Murder Barbie

Murder Barbie

A post shared by KATHRYN NEWTON (@kathrynnewton) on

Kathryn Newton's star is on the rise after coming to the attention of most people for her recurring role in Supernatural. After taking on a leading role in Detective Pikachu, the actress was most recently seen alongside Vince Vaughn in Freaky. Here, she transforms into "Murder Barbie."

It's a fun, unexpected take on the classic toy, and Newton most definitely manages to look the part.

A Barbie movie is currently in the works with The Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie attached to star as a live-action version of the titular character. Plot details are being kept a secret, though.

6. Dwayne Johnson As Mufasa

Well, he tried!

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is busy shooting Red Notice for Netflix and will begin work on Black Adam early next year, so he can be forgiven for perhaps ordering a Mufasa costume that didn't fit.

He is, after all, one of the busiest men working in Hollywood today, and this comical photo of the ripped wrestler turned Hollywood A-Lister is certainly in-keeping with the spirit of Halloween.

5. Saweetie And Quavo As Mystique And Beast

Saweetie went viral with her rap debut - "ICY GRL" - and has since found a huge amount of success in that world. Her boyfriend, Quavo, is the de facto leader and production savant of the multiplatinum, Grammy-nominated rap trio Migos, and their Halloween costumes were true "couple goals."

As you can see, they decided to transform themselves into Mystique and Beast, and they're clearly fans of that romance in Fox's X-Men movies to have gone to this much effort.

Saweetie's take on Mystique looks movie-quality in terms of the practical special effects, and it must have taken hours to undergo the process of being turned into the mutant.

4. Javicia Leslie As Scarecrow

Javicia Leslie is the Arrowverse's new Batwoman and will first be seen in action on The CW next January.

Now, you have to believe it was probably tempting to ask network bosses whether she could borrow that suit for Halloween (we doubt they'd approve), but Leslie still paid homage to the Caped Crusader's world. Dressing as the villainous Scarecrow, the actress looks terrifying as the Batman villain.

We don't know whether Scarecrow will come to The CW's version of Gotham City, but it has been confirmed that the upcoming third season of Titans will include Dr. Jonathan Crane.

3. Bella Thorne As Little Red Riding Hood

Lil red 👑 grandma doesn’t approve of my outfit 🥺

A post shared by BELLA (@bellathorne) on

Bella Thorne has starred in a lot of movies - The Babysitter: Killer QueenAmityville: The Awakening, and Ratchet & Clank are among her credits - but has focused more on modelling in recent years.

That's evident from these revealing shots of her dressed as Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween.

These are bordering on being NSFW, and Thorne jokingly points out that, "grandma doesn’t approve of my outfit." It remains to be seen whether she'll ever board a superhero project, but the actress and model is perhaps too controversial a character for a big budget blockbuster. You never know, though!

2. Vanessa Hudgens As Catwoman

Vanessa Hudgens had a taste of the DC Universe when she starred in NBC's short-lived Powerless.

The actress seems perfectly suited for a superhero role, but it hasn't happened yet. With any luck, that's going to change, because she's undeniably talented; plus, if this photo of her suited up as Catwoman is any indication, she would make a great Selina Kyle somewhere in the DCEU.

Based on the costume worn by Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns, Hudgens definitely does the original justice; perhaps she could play Catwoman in that long delayed Gotham City Sirens project?

1. Chris Hemsworth As Clint Eastwood And Elsa Pataky As Harley Quinn

Halloween!! #familyandfun😱👻

A post shared by Elsa Pataky (@elsapatakyconfidential) on

Chris Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, has shared some photos from their Halloween celebrations, and the Fast & Furious star clearly makes for a pretty amazing Harley Quinn based on this post.

While she decided to take inspiration from the DC Extended Universe, the Thor: Love and Thunder star appeared to be channelling his inner cowboy for a costume inspired by Clint Eastwood.

These two look fantastic together, and definitely made an effort for their Australian Halloween party!

@MyCoolYoung - it's like, I haven't "hated" any of the MCU costumes, but not getting to see the classic costumes sometimes is frustrating. But I get it.

We’ve gotten better representations of the costumes from cosplayers than Fox ever gave us....

@655321 -

Better than anything we've seen onscreen from FOX.

Considering the fact that Storm was an after-thought to them, I'm not surprised.

Yes. I do hope we don't get a mixed race actor again. Marvel should have a mandate for this.

Casting light skin females in this role is a bit of a cop-out especially if her origins do not allude Storm to having a mixed heritage.
