But talk of a sequel, even though there is no script or green light for one, is already all over the web thanks to Matthew Vaughn, and now MTV catch up with his cast to find out how they see their characters progressing in a second movie..

James McAvoy on Charles Xavier

"I think that as much as this is a story about superheroes and stuff like that, you can't paper over the fact that he's just been made significantly physically disabled and you need to address that. At the beginning of this film, Charles is in a very different place from where he is in the other movies, and by the end of the third movie, you want to see him being quite like Patrick Stewart, But in the second movie you want to see him go through the crucible — you want to see him really walk through the fire to get to that place."

"He has to go through one more metamorphosis and he has to be really tested. He's got to lose the hair at some point. We have to come up with some cool, plot-driven way."

January Jones on Emma Frost

"There's no script written obviously, but having done some research in the comics, there's a relationship between Emma Frost and Magneto characters so maybe they'll do something with that,"

Lucas Till on Havok

"I'd like to see Alex come into the guy he was before he discovered his powers and accidentally kill a few people"

Rose Byrne on Moira MacTaggert

"I think the love story isn't fully explored between Charles and Moira [MacTaggert] in this first episode, so there's something definitely there. Whether perhaps they went off with other people and they were star-crossed lovers, or whether they did get together and it was a disaster, I think there is much more to be explored in that area."

I love how McAvoy basically says he will be handicapped by the end of the film...nothing like spoiling the movie and acknowledging the B-Roll footage...however, this news, with the B-Roll footage, has bought the ticket for me...I for one like the spoilers coming out for this, because it is given me a reason to look past all the mistakes and see some really good acting and fight scenes... I don't like the attitude of the director, but I do like how he has finally said this is a reboot...So looking back on the past trilogy, I for one , Hope they forget the previous movies...to tell you the truth I see more mistakes in the trilogy, then I have saw in this movie...some big things really ate at me about the trilogy, three things in particular; Magneto was too old, not enough focus on Cyclops and the lack of leadership by storm...In this new movie, only minor things bug me...for example, angel Salvador being in this, even though she is a 5th generation x-men, the horrible wig that mystique wears and having emma frost is just pointless, other then eye-candy...so in saying that, Magneto now has the opportunity to be the Magneto we wanted for the trilogy...Cyclops could have the possibility of becoming important to the film again, instead of just a sidekick to Wolvie, and if storm is included in the sequel, Ororo will have more of a leadership position, instead of just another member...so I for one am all for this "First Class" and I do agree with ELgUaSoN, the squeal should be entitled "the Uncanny X-men"...

@ELgUaSoN - In the "movie canon" bobby is a kid like rogue, so having him in x-men 2 in unlikely.

And thinking about it, actually since Xavier is already bald when finding cyclops and jean, that's also unlikely to happen in x-men 2nd class (or whatever the name will be).

But sentinels... I'd dig it so much! And Mr. Sinister!

Want a way to correct the mistakes of the past?

Introduce Cable into the sequel or some other time jumping being and there we go. By the third movie, even at the end of it setup for the original First Class. Though don't know if this could happen since you'd have to assume every movie before this point is successful.

Anyway, which ever way it goes I'm pretty excited for this movie. It looks good.

I've finally figured this stuff out! Michael J. White

appears as Bishop and sends the first class

to the future(X-men 3 present) immediately

after Professor X initiates them as full

fleged X-Men! There, they save Cyclops,

Havok gets left behind in the future, and

the timeline of the Summers characters fall

seamlessly in place! DAMN I'M GOOD!!!

Are you taking notes Vaughn???
