X-MEN '97 Season 2 Promo Art Reveals First Official Look At Polaris, Wasteland Costumes, And More

A first official look at the highly-anticipated second season of X-Men '97 has been revealed via a promo poster from Grupo Erik that is now available to purchase on Amazon.

The artwork features Morph, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Cable, Sunspot, Rogue, Forge, Bishop, Beast, Jubilee, Magneto, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Professor X, and a first look at Polaris.

A t-shirt also spotlights Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, and Morph in their Wasteland costumes.

Last year, we reported on a rumor that Scream 7 star Neve Campbell had been cast as Polaris in the Disney+ animated series, but she denied her involvement back in February. While speaking to The Movie Dweeb, Campbell replied, "No," when asked if she had joined the cast of X-Men '97, before adding, "That is the rumor though... right?"

There's definitely a chance Campbell was simply covering her bases here, but we'll find out for certain fairly soon.

Check out the artwork below.

In the season 1 finale, the team managed to defeat Bastion and prevent Asteroid M from destroying the planet, but the heroes somehow ended up being transported through time in the process. Some of them encountered a younger En Sabah Nur, and it was heavily implied that Apocalypse will ultimately assemble his Horsemen, which could include a resurrected Gambit.

Marvel's Brad Winderbaum recently confirmed that X-Men '97 will return to our screens this year.

"Season 2 of X-Men ‘97 is going to be in ‘26. We're working on it now," he told Collider. "It's exciting. That world of the ‘90s is just… Honestly, I can't believe they let me make it. I grew up at Marvel, as you know, clocked a lot of time here, and I feel like I used a lot of currency to revive this thing that I loved watching after school. So, the fact that we get to play in that universe with those actors is honestly why I went into this business in the first place."

X-Men '97's voice cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler.

Episodes are directed by Jake Castorena, Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura. Larry Houston, Julia Lewald, Eric Lewald, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito produce, with Matthew Chauncey on board as a consulting producer.

What did you think of the first season of X-Men '97? Drop us a comment down below.

"A band of mutants use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them; they're challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future. New Episodes, New Era," reads the official synopsis.

I know they’re trying to make it look like the 90s cartoon but I wish the animation would evolve a little.

The popularity of 'X-MEN 97' was really unexpected, but it was such a good show. If they want to, they could just continue the story in live-action and scrap the plans for MCU X-men altogether. I would cast Lee Pace as Cyclops, Evan Rachel Wood as Jean, Matt Wood as Wolverine, Austin Butler as Gambit, Miley Cyrus as Rogue, Jodie Turner-Smith as Storm, Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Jubilee, Mason Gooding as Sunspot, Mason Alexander Park as Morph, Pierce Brosnan as Magneto.. who am I missing? BEAST? Gotta be cg, but the voice need to be nerdy and gruff at the same time... like Matthew Macfadyen.

They all look good , especially Magneto with the goatee!!.

I like that Scott & Jean atleast are wearing their X-Factor costumes while Wolverine seems to be wearing his feral costume from when after Magneto ripped the Adamantium from his skeleton in the comics…

They better have Beau DeMayo in the credits. These jackasses wouldn't even have this show without him!
