Talking to IGN Movies, the actress has revealed some new details about her role as Angel Salvadore in X-Men: First Class. Below are a few excerpts, but you can read much more by heading on over to the site by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.

On Her Experiences While Filming:

It's been great. I've never spent so much time in London, and I really love it. Pinewood's great and the crew is fantastic. It's nice to be away. It's different when you're out of your environment and you don't go home every day. It's nerve-wracking to be on a production this big, in a way. Sometimes you'll have these moments of realisation, where you're doing a crazy stunt or, you know, Kevin Bacon's walking by. But the cool thing is that everyone's really nice. You could be a bit freaked out but everyone's so wonderful and different, so now it's like home away from home.

On The Role Of Angel Salvadore In The Movie:

She starts out on the good side with Professor X and Magneto - they recruit her to be an X-Man, and then she switches to Sebastian Shaw's side to be in Hellfire. I think it's just a different approach to fighting for human equality. Someone compared the two different sides. In this film it's Hellfire and the X-Men, but later it's Xavier and Magneto and someone compared it to Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. They're really fighting for the same thing, but it's different approaches for how to get there. I think she just believes that the aggressive side is the right side.

On The Final Fight Scene In X-Men: First Class:

Yeah, at the end there's a big fight scene and I get to soar through the air and projectile vomit and attack the X-Men. They had us work out a lot to strengthen the core. There's a lot of stress on that area. I'm trying to get my stomach area really strong so I can work with the wires. And they had us practice quite a bit on the wires and the harness. You just have to get used to it.

On The 1960's Setting:

It's really cool. The '60s is one of my favourite eras in general. I love '60s music and I've always wanted to do a period film. It's really cool, the combination of the action and the CGI stuff. I have the least lines out of all those guys but probably the best costumes! All my costumes are backless because of the wings and they made me this really cool metal dress. I have a pretty cool leather cat suit too. That's kind of my signature look.

X-Men: First Class is set to be released in the UK on June 1st and in the US on June 2nd.

Should......some of that........not be made public.....before the movie even comes out?
If Marvel had made this alot of these interviews would not be as revealing. I've had to stop watching all the new clips and this will be the last interview I read because I'm looking forward to this movie and want some surprises intact when I watch it.

i hope they implement more of her powers than just the lame wings...

like a reproductive system that involved laying eggs with a complete gestation period of only five days from conception to birth. and she was also able to vomit a highly acidic substance that she used to partially digest her food prior to consumption.

TheLight, I'm holding my breath and not even trying to think of the new Mad Max, I'm afraid if I do it'll stay in development hell for the next several years. Too bad Mel isn't coming back, but I think Tom Hardy will do justice.

I really wish they didn't give out her betrayal as a plot detail like this.

I'd rather see the movie not knowing she was going to switch sides.

I strongly dislike how they keep calling her Angel in the promotional campaigns and film! HER HERO NAME IS TEMPEST!! Calling her Angel, confuses everyone with Warren and is disrespectful to his character in my opinion...when x1 came out they didn't call Cyclops Scott in the promotional campaigns, they called him Cyclops...they should be doing the same here...because there's only one "Angel"...Warren Worthington!
