Did this guy even try to workout??? Gerard Batler had seriously workout with stunt team and then with bodybuilding trainer at the same day and looked great. This guy doesn't have any developed muscles. No pecs, no shoulder, no biceps and even his abs doesn't show up. What he was doing? Masturbating maybe but it doesn't count, right?

He's playing an Athenian, not a Spartan. And don't expect a Gerard Butler level physique - that guy raised the bar and not everybody can achieve that kind of physique.

@King Yeah I saw that pic before. He doesn't even look like a warrior. Average Joe. Yes! He is not Spartan but it wasn't an excuse for other Athenians to look good. It doesn't even feel that he tried to achieve some fisique. Look Andy Whitfield gained pretty good muscles for Spartacus. He did that for a tv show. This is big budget Hollywood movie and this guy looks generic. Look at his arms! He has office Clerk arms. If he worked out and was on a good diet, he'd look different. It was like: "I got the part . Why wood I work my ass off."

The guy on the poster is him. Maybe the behind the scenes picture is a really unfortunate picture. Maybe he did work out. Let's wait till the trailer before we bash this guy. He was in Strike Back series on Cinemax and has some good film roles to his name.

@King Well C'mon Buddy! Poster is so dark and photoshopped that you can clearly say that his pecs are improved the same deal was with Kate Bekinsale's boobs on first Underworld movie posters. The deal is if you workin out it will show even if pictures are unfortunate. Again look at the first 300 movie behind the scenes photos. Actors look good anyways. I am workin out my self even though I had only 4 abs showing yet(didn't start cutting) other muscle groups are developed. And compering to this generic looking guy I am shorter but I achive the fisique. This guy did not workin out properly maybe he jogged a little and do sword training.
Look again at first movie posters Leonidas are not photoshopped or Darkened out.
