Check Out A Supercut Of All Of Zack Snyder's Slow Motion Scenes From WATCHMEN And More

Set to Emily Browning's (Sucker Punch) version of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This", the following supercut takes the slow motion scenes from Zack Snyder's movies - 300 and Watchmen for example - and the results are surprisingly beautiful when viewed like this. Check it out!

J.J. Abrams has lens flare and Zack Snyder has slow-motion! Despite some poking fun at both of these filmmakers for their visual style, this supercut of the latter's slow-motion scenes from movies like Sucker Punch, 300, Watchmen, and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole looks stunning when viewed to the hypnotising voice of Emily Browning as she performs "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This". Much to the surprise of some, Man of Steel didn't feature much in the way of slow motion, so it doesn't feature in the video above (which seems a shame). Will we see these scenes return in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? We'll have to wait and see!

Sinead O'Connor ruined the bald look for me a long time ago.

Zack has a hugue challenge on his shoulders, bring the first big screen reunion of the two first superheroes. He already did a good job with Superman on MOS

I fixed it for you Dane.

I really wanted to see some of his ramping in MOS, he does it better than anyone, but alas, we didn't get any. I really really hope we get a least a few shots of bats ans supes in slowmo

Love Snyder's visual style, interesting that he didn't keep it for Man Of Steel though

Say what you will about Sucker Punch, but visually it was a master piece.

Minty, he had it for the final flashback scene where young Clark is playing with his dog while wearing a red cape. The slow motion was subtle.

@MantiuMan - Yeah I reckon you're right, I've heard Larry Fong's back as cinematographer for BVS too, and he worked on Watchmen, 300, Sucker Punch.

@McGee - Oddly enough that was one of my favourite scenes in MOS. Guess I can't get enough of dat slow-mo action ;)

Man of Steel was a great start to that universe. It had flaws but I think the finished product overcame them. Definitely don't understand some of the hate it gets, unlike TASM2 for example.

Watchmen is still one of the best movies ever made, in my opinion. Couldn't have picked a better director for this universe

I was wondering if he might use slow motion more in BVS or not. Guess will have wait to find out but I can see him using it more in this film more then he did in MOS. Maybe he can use it to recreate the Batman jumping with lighting shot from The dark knight returns and that Rorschach scene from Watchmen reminds me of it.
