After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches south towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.

Taken 2 was better than part 1.
First Taken was just Commando with Liam Neeson minus the humour

I can't wait to see this movie. It may not be needed but that does not mean it can't be good. The first was enjoyable and I think this one will be too.

Plus at Jobin you will be happy to hear that Taken 3 is coming out in a few years.

300 was good movie once it came out. It was something new and fresh.

it's a cult movie now. Still i don't think it's that good. I don't think it did stand the test of time. I would need to rewatch it. I just don't have a need to do it.


This sequel is unnecessary. Too much time has passed.
They should greenligh a sequel right after first part hit the silver screens back in 2006.

The only sequel that i think is worth waiting for is Sin City 2

Good movie! Well, it wasn't exactly based on the actual story (it is a true story, obviously without the monsters and I don't think Xerxes dressed up like that) but still very good! After all, if they didn't add some fiction, nobody would watch it. I wish they casted some greek actors or actresses though...
