Sony Pictures has officially released the teaser trailer for Elizabeth Banks' Charlie's Angels, offering an action-packed first look at Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Naomi Scott (Power Rangers), and Ella Balinska (A Modern Tale) gearing up for trouble.

While plot details have mostly been kept under wraps, the movie is believed to be a sequel - and not a reboot - that will serve as some sort of continuation of the original television series from the 1970s and the Cameron Diaz/Drew Barrymore/Lucy Liu films from the early 2000s.

In addition to the titular trio, the supporting cast is comprised of Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I've Loved Before), Sam Claflin (Me Before You), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), Elizabeth Banks (Spider-Man 3), Patrick Stewart (Logan), Luis Gerardo Mendez (Murder Mystery), Jonathan Tucker (Westworld), Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), and Nat Faxon (Disenchantment).

Funnily enough, I was sold on Ella Balinska the most out of everyone.

Movie does not look great though.

@DnA - I did not realize how tall she was until now.

Naomi Scott looks good though. She is really on the come up. The only one in this trailer who really owns the screen.

@BlackBeltJones - For me the only one that stood out was Ella Balinska.

@TRexx21 - She was very cool I admit.

Deserves a better vehicle than this

@BlackBeltJones - yea, I'm not completely off board with this though, I mean it's Charlie's Angels...they've never been Grade A movies. More like popcorn fun with with pretty girls doing impossible stunts, honestly I don't see much difference from this and anything that came before in this franchise.

@BlackBeltJones - That’s funny cause I think Kirsten Stewart is absolutely magnetic in this. I’m not really interested in the film but she looks incredible.

@TedDanson - @BlackBeltJones that's funny because it looks like each of us chose a different girl as the standout...maybe there's hope for this movie after all, lol.

I mean, I like the cast? Might be fun? It looks pretty bad though.

So only remaining question is...

Ella Balinska

Does she stay with SONY and sign on as Silver Sablinova?. Or jump ship to Warner’s and play Selina Kyle?

Decisions...

@IronGenesis - For the record, when I saw how tall she was, Balinska did get jumped onto my Storm fancasting possibles list.

@IronGenesis - She's to tall for Tom Holland. Poor Tommy's gonna have cervical problems just from trying to look her in the eye

@Spock0Clock - No more light skinned Storms!! No offense to my light sisters, but Storm needs to be played by a beautiful chocolate woman FINALLY. Kiki Layne is my top choice.

The only thing worse than garbage is garbage that absolutely no one wanted or asked for.

I was expecting worse but still didn't think it was good. And I know the pose is a staple but it did not translate well in that shot.

This looks like the best possible version of what a 2019 Charlie's Angels movie would be.

I don't know what people complaining wanted, frankly. If you just don't like the premise / franchise, then that's cool, but what are you complaining about it for?

Ghostbusters 2016 looks better than this, and that movie was shit.

I got like a Jem and the Holograms vibe from this trailer, which is not something you ever want to say about another movie.

Pros: Patrick Stewart, Some of the effects work looks outstanding, Patrick Stewart, Kristen Stewart looks to have improved as an actress, Patrick Stewart, there looks to be a lot of different set pieces which suggests to me that the movie will move along at a brisk pace, Patrick Stewart, certainly some legit eye candy, Patrick Stewart

Cons: That song is horrendous, the one-liners are cringe-worthy, who the hell asked for this movie?, profound lack of Lucy Liu

Ceiling is probably the Jumanji re-make. Floor is MiB:I.
