Variety have revealed that Christoph Waltz is in talks to join the cast of Warner Bros.' Tarzan reboot alongside Alexander Skarsgard. While plot details are still scarce, although sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the Academy Award winning actor, "will play a Belgian soldier named Captain Rom who wants to capture Tarzan in exchange for diamonds." Various writers have worked on the screenplay, while Harry Potter director David Yates has been attached for some time now. Yates is apparently beginning to set up meetings with actresses to play Jane, with Focus star Margot Robbie and Zombieland's Emma Stone just two of those who are being considered.
