Christopher Nolan is perhaps one of the most celebrated director's of this age, especially amongst comic book movie fans with the acclaimed Dark Knight trilogy planted firmly under his belt.

He is back with another film of epic proportion, Dunkirk. The story of Operation Dynamo, the evactuation of 400,000 allied troops from the beaches and harbour of Dunirk, France in 1940.

Nolan has a reputation for his well crafted films and amazing visual and practical effects, but how does this fare to his previous work? Watch the video below to find out.

I enjoyed the film even though I have never seen a film quite like this. The way the story is told is very clever and to me parallels the score. The time differences between the individual stories builds to a point yet it is barely noticeable. All in all it is another great film by Christopher Nolan, who continues to establish himself as one of the great directors of our time.
